Bachelor Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson Split

Truth rating: 10

Ben Flajnik, who called off his engagement once before to Courtney Robertson after proposing to her on “The Bachelor,” has once again parted ways with his fiancee.

In a statement to In Touch, the couple said, “After meeting over a year ago, we have decided to end our romantic relationship. The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers.”

“We have nothing but the utmost respect for each other, and both feel this is the right decision,” they said, adding, “We continue to remain friends and will support each other in future endeavors. Thanks to everyone for your love and support, it’s been quite a ride.”

Flajnik and Robertson aired their various issues during the “After the Final Rose” special before he again slipped the engagement ring back on her finger, but clearly they — like most “Bachelor” couples — were not meant to be.

What do you think about Flajnik and Robertson calling it quits?

Maybe the couples from this show will work if they took “candidates” that only live in the same state as the bachelor or bachelorette. it never works because they have to stay away from each other until the show airs and then they live apart after that anyway

“Duh” is what I think. He wasn’t paying close enough attention, and she has too much wounding. Duh.

I think Ben Flajnik is just as fake as Courtney Robertson, and they aren’t “meant to be” because they aren’t real. Ben’s decision, in my opinion, was a lustful one, and he knew who he wanted from the very first show, even if Courtney didn’t get the first impression rose. She invited him to her room, before the second to final show, if I remember correctly. Which probably peaked his interest til the end. Let alone the last show where the bachelor can “try the milk before he buys the cow”…This relationship was meant to end.
