Ben Affleck Shaved Off Beard at Oscars Party

Ben Affleck celebrated his Oscars win by taking a load off — literally.

After his movie Argo snagged Best Picture, the actor shaved off his good-luck beard at George Clooney’s bash at Craig’s in West Hollywood.

A source close to the actor-director tells Gossip Cop, “[His] family wanted it off.”

We’re told Affleck’s wife Jennifer Garner was the one who brought the clippers to the party.

    Ben Affleck has changed so much! I remember the Goodwill Hunting days when he was young, a little wild and had quite a mouth on him. He’s now married to a good woman with 3 beautiful kids and still seems to be living life to the fullest. I give him much respect for being able to maintain some level of “realness” (is that even a word?) in such a plastic place as Hollywood.
