Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are NOT “renewing their vows,” despite a made-up story by one of this week’s new tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

Affleck and Garner are getting along for the sake of their kids, who they brought on vacation to Paris earlier this month. And now according to In Touch, the estranged spouses supposedly “reignited their romance” during the trip. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid that Affleck asked Garner to renew their wedding vows, and also “voluntarily agreed to sign a ‘no cheating’ contract to prove that he’s committed to her and saving the marriage.”

The magazine’s dubious source goes on to say that Garner was “stunned by the gesture” and is “willing to give Ben another chance.” The outlet’s supposed insider further claims that in light of the cheating rumors, the actress “still has trust issues,” but “wants their marriage to work.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the former couple, who exclusively assures us they have no plans to renew their vows, and the tabloid’s claim is simply “not true.” Of course, we’re not surprised by the tabloid’s bogus story. Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted In Touch for its many wrong reports about Affleck and Garner supposedly getting back together.

We recently called out the magazine for falsely alleging the actor was trying to “win back” his estranged wife. Shortly before that, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s bogus claim their marriage was “back on.” The two are staying on good terms to co-parent their kids, but the tabloid’s many reconciliation reports simply aren’t true.
