Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner NOT Reconciling, Despite Report
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are not reconciling, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim, which began in one of the tabloids. We’re told it’s not true, and they’re “not getting back together.”
According to Life & Style, Affleck and Garner have been going to counseling and “reconciliation is possible.” In its intentionally deceptive story titled, “Ben & Jen: Therapist Tells All,” the tabloid quotes Dr. Julie Armstrong a lot. And while Dr. Armstrong may be a skilled therapist, it’s important to note that she has never ever treated Affleck or Garner nor does she give any specific insight into the celebrity couple’s issues. However, that didn’t stop the magazine from trying to position its story as if it had inside information about the two stars.
Instead, when it comes to Affleck and Garner, the tabloid has a so-called “source” quoted as saying, “Ben’s spoken about his fears that he’ll never measure up to Jen’s expectations, while Jen’s acknowledged that she needs to stop trying to change him.” That same supposed “source” further tells the magazine, “a reconciliation is possible.” Only there does Life & Style drag Dr. Armstrong across the line, quoting her saying, presumably in a very hypothetical way, “There’s a chance they’ll get back together.”
Gossip Cop, however, deals with facts, not hypotheticals. And much like the tabloid’s past inaccurate story about Garner seeking sole custody of their three children, this latest tale about them reconciling is also not true. A source close to the couple assures Gossip Cop that Affleck and Garner are “not getting back together.”
