“Serious question time: What’s going on with Ben Affleck‘s hair?” asks Perez Hilton regarding Affleck’s shaggy new ‘do.

The blogger writes, “While walking in Santa Monica yesterday, [Affleck's] hair was just too drastic to ignore, getting into his face and getting so close to The Biebs’ signature look, we started to fear he might be going through a midlife crisis.”

Perez persists, “Is that it Ben? Did you find a few grey hairs and now you’re trying to recapture your youth??? Your hair does look darker!”

Oh, Perez.

If the blogger had bothered to investigate, he’d know that Affleck’s new hairstyle is for a movie role.

A rep for the actor confirms to Gossip Cop, “Ben’s new haircut is for Argo – his next movie.”

The only “crisis” here is in Perez’s reporting.
