Jennifer Garner Did NOT Warn Ben Affleck To Quit Drinking Or Move Out, Despite Report
Jennifer Garner did NOT warn Ben Affleck that he needs to either stop drinking or move out of their house, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
A so-called “source” tells In Touch that the estranged spouses, who still live together, recently “had a fight and she told him that if he didn’t do something about his drinking, she would force him out of the family house.” The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to purport that Garner is concerned about Affleck’s behavior, so “she gave him an ultimatum, and she’s serious about it.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us that Garner has not threatened to kick Affleck out of their home over his drinking. We’re told the magazine’s claim otherwise is simply untrue.
Of course, Gossip Cop has repeatedly called out In Touch for making up false claims about the estranged couple, so this latest piece of fiction comes as no surprise. We previously busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Affleck’s mom begged Garner to call off their divorce. We also debunked the publication’s story about Garner changing the locks on Affleck. This latest tale is equally bogus.
