After the enormous success of The Lion King‘s theatrical re-release in 3D, Disney decided to put four more of its animated classics back in multiplexes.

Beauty and the Beast 3D will be first, hitting theaters in January 2012.

There’s a new trailer for the refurbished, 3D-ified version.
