President Obama and Mitt Romney roasted each other — and themselves — at Thursday night’s annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.

With less than three weeks to go in a tight presidential campaign, and after Tuesday’s contentious debate, it was a nice change of pace to see Obama and Romney in some lighter moments before things get serious again.

Romney came off better and had better timing. I think Obama did well also.

Both had some good jokes, but Romney seem to have a few more funny ones. Maybe it just seemed that way because he had better comedic timing overall. I did like their self-depreciating humor.
