Bad “Gossip” About Ed Westwick

Just Jared was just wrong when it came to a story about an alleged bar brawl between “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick and fellow British thespian Toby Hemingway during a birthday celebration for JC Chasez in Hollywood.
The blog had a source saying, “Toby started choking Ed,” without giving any other details - like what the fictitious fight was about. It only noted that Westwick’s “Gossip Girl” co-star “Chace Crawford had to pull them apart.” (Crawford also starred alongside Hemingway in the film, “The Covenant.”)
The story has two problems – namely, Hemingway and Westwick, who didn’t spend much time at the party. Hemingway’s side said the supposed incident was “not true.” But what about Westwick, who was reportedly choked? You would think his side would owe nothing to alleged aggressor Hemingway, but instead his rep also said that there was “no such fight.”
In fact, the two guys are really good pals who, at best, may have been playing around.
