Bachelor Recap: Juan Pablo Gets Close To Chelsie & Nikki, Eliminates 2 Ladies
Cassandra received the first date card of the episode, and the pair cruised in a water car out to a yacht. Galavis and found the 21-year-old single mom “shy” at first, but soon enough, they were making out in the ocean.
They continued their night by making dinner together and sharing photos of their kids. Galavis gave her a rose at the end of the date, and they made out some more.
For the group date, 10 of the ladies competed in a 5 v. 5 game at the L.A. Galaxy stadium. The red team was beating the blue team so badly that eventually Galavis had to come in and play for blue — but they still lost.
After the game, the group had a cocktail party at the stadium, and each girl fought to get one-on-one time with the Bachelor.
During a sitdown with Nikki, Galavis told her, “I like your vibe” and “you’re sexy,” while she confessed she was worried about getting hurt on the show. He then proceeded to make out with Andi in the kitchen.
Just moments later, the ladies watched on as Galavis shared a very sloppy kiss with Sharleen on the soccer field. But it was Nikki — who didn’t kiss him — who ended up receiving the group date rose.
For the final one-on-one date, Galavis took Chelsie tandem bungee jumping off a bridge in L.A. Chelsie freaked out and broke down in tears before their jump, but Galavis finally convinced her to do it. They made out while hanging upside down off the bridge.
Galavis and Chelsie then had a candlelit dinner at city hall, and he gave her the date rose. The following day, the Bachelor surprised the (makeup-free) women by cooking them arepas at the mansion.
Galavis decided to cancel the cocktail party that night and have a pool party instead, but the girls became jealous when he cozied up to Kat. Sharleen even broke down in tears while telling him how uncomfortable she was feeling. Clare also started crying because she didn’t want to share Galavis with the other women (apparently she skipped over the show description when she applied).
So, who was eliminated during the rose ceremony? Galavis sent home Lucy, the “free spirit,” and Christy.
