Bachelor Pad Season Finale Ends With Shocking Twist

Truth rating: 10

RECAP

(ABC)

The “Bachelor Pad” finale on Monday was as drama-filled as the rest of the season — if not more so.

With just two couples still in the runningNick & Rachel and Chris & Sarah — the ousted contestants returned to weigh in on which pair deserved the $250,000 grand prize.

So, which couple won the vote?

SPOILER ALERT!

Nick and Rachel received the most votes, beating out Chris and Sarah.

But that wasn’t the end of things.

RELATED – Chris Bukowski and Fellow Bachelor Pad Stars Teaming Up to Open D.C. Restaurant

“Bachelor Pad” requires its winning couple to decide whether to share the money with each other or try to keep it all for themselves.

If both winners vote “share,” they get to split the $250,000 — but if one votes “keep,” the other is screwed.

And if they both choose “keep,” well, everyone else on the show gets the money!

So who walked away with their wallet a little heavier?

ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT!

Only Nick!

Rachel, who moments before said she did “trust Nick,” was left stunned after her partner voted to keep the money all for himself, while she voted to share it.

A furious Rachel laid into Nick afterwards, even saying, “Are you f**kin’ kidding me,” and telling him “you are disgusting.”

nick’s a little selfish prick and didn’t even deserve half the money. selfish greedy bastard..

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_DUYNMQ3BZ4UGLJCG7KVHWNXXXQ Anonymous

the real schmuck was Michael who broke Rachel’s heart and should have consoled her instead of telling Nick to console her. They all wanted the money but none were honest enough to say they would keep it all except Nick. Congrats Nick you won fair and square.

  • prairiekitten

Like Jaclyn said “no one comes to bachelor pad to make friends”…so what’s her deal?! Someone needs to shut her up she’s so annoying already. Im just happy to see an underdog showing up all the “popular bully kids ” in the house. YAY Nick !!!

  • disappointedinNick

Nick’s decision is disappointing. Yes, he won the game. Well done, but his decision is evidence of his true character. It seems he was bitter throughout the game and it came out at the end. He was jealous of the other people in the house. He has money, but what a sad way to earn it.

  • Nick is a shmuck

It is so sad what someone will do to justify their terrible actions. She stayed on the show for him. Its okay because karma is a bitch. She knew he was going to screw her over and did it anyways. I am shocked that someone can be so cruel. Only to laugh in her face. I am completely disgusted with him. I would have rather Chris and Sarah won the money. Over the two of them. Some people are just bad.

  • GoNick!

I was SO excited about Nick’s decision! I feel like he felt that Rachel never really cared about him or their partnership, and I fullheartedly agree that I don’t think she did either. She said tonite on the finale that she stayed there for Jaclyn and because Michael wanted her to. She never once gave Nick any credit for anything and I’m sure the guy felt left out and almsot as though he wasn’t a part of a partnership. I didn’t see him as a front-runner by any means and can honestly say didn’t even know who he was really on the show, but good for him for taking the money. I agree with him when he says he got there because of himself…Rachel thinks she got him there? Who got Rachel there? Michael and Jaclyn…she didn’t do that herself. I don’t feel like she deserved that money any more than Nick did.

  • Nick’sAJerk!

What a disappointment! This sure shows what little character Nick has, no wonder no one wanted to partner with him. Sure it’s a show but I think Nick is a selfish disgusting jerk!
    NICK IS A DICK!!!!!

  • prairiekitten

Couldn’t agree more! Nick had an opportunity of a lifetime & he would regret not taking it. Rachel learned a life lesson to respect all people..even unpopular ones. Karmas a bitch sometimes …

  • Nick is Nick.

Perhaps there are six types of people in this world… Nick represents one of those types. The lesson from this season of Bachelor Pad is this: never underestimate the quiet man in the corner who OBSERVES all and says little. Not everybody in this world desperately seeks attention, companionship or the “false” acceptance of others. We truly have to accept people like this for who they really are and understand they are not murderers and rapist, etc… just different from you typical attention-seeking whores on B-Pad.

Go Nick! U deserve it all! The most intelligent player!

  • http://www.facebook.com/prettylegsJackson Lisa Abbott

I love it! PRICELESS – Everybody snubbed Nick. Who cares how many sentences he spoke – he won – end of story. Not to mention seeing how Rachel handled it – I ceased feeling sorry for her after about the 10th F-bomb. How classy.

  • bp3fan

For all you Nick Haters – get over your stupid selves!!!!! Nick deserved to win and he did. He deserved all the money more than that idiot crybaby Rachel. Come on, it’s a f*****g game people.

  • http://www.facebook.com/prettylegsJackson Lisa Abbott

You said it – he has the money so everything else is moot – I doubt he’ll lose any sleep over it and he shouldn’t. He won – end of story.

  • Money is not everything

Nick behave as crazy…..his eyes did not look normal. I believe he would do anything for money…..such a low behavior

  • Boopgirl

Nick won fair and square! I love it! He did nothing wrong! Everything he said about Rachel was true!

  • doug

at least chris never back stabbed anyone.(like rachel how would you like her for a friend. cant believe they voted her to stay till the end.) he told them to theyre faces he was there for the money. and when he was ready to move on he told them and they did like it.
rachel said 30 minutes into the show that she didnt care about the money. and stayed there for michael. not nick.
good for nick so funny i was clapping at home.

  • Nicolemariexoxo

I think nick made a bold and awesome move. Everyone else on the game is so conceited to think that they “deserved” the money. Rachel claims she brought nick to the end. Um, no… He slithered his way under the radar, and Rachel and everyone else never supported him! Why should he share the money? He deserved it more than any of them because he was talked down to, disrespected, and taken for granted… Yet he stayed strong kept his eye on the prize and held his ego in until the last moment and won the money. Heck yes nick. I would have done the same thing in your shoes. Hahahaha awesome!

  • Wow: I like this show

Honestly, quite possibly my favorite moments on televion. I hated this show. Hated it. My wife watches it and if I need husband points I do too (yawn).

While I feel bad for Rachel, Nick is a stud for playing the game. IMO, while some people think that he should be concerned about appearing sneaky, at least he doesn’t have to worry about appearing to be a weak, dumb, freeloading man who didn’t earn his keep (you all heard the other contestants talking smack about him while he was deciding)!

I’m sad for Rachel because it’s a double whammy, but congrats to Nick… He stepped up when it counted the most!

Ps nick, next time be a touch nicer when you win the pot.

  • zenaida fair

In MHIO: most of the people on this shaw including Rachel get loaded with tons of money from every single episode and later media coverage. for todays shaky economy 250K would be so helpful to anyone. In regards “love” and “relationship”- it is TV shaw and nothing should be taken seriously. All of the participants in this , or similar shows are here for the MONEY only. Of course it is so easy to blame Nick, who is in my opinion complete Dick and Jerk and doesn’t deserve this kind of money, so the others don’t deserve anything. He didn’t work hard for it, he doesn’t care for any one and never will, he is to shallow to have any feelings towards any one not now and not ever. He just lucky f—en bastard who happend to be in the right place at the right time, a lottery winner if you will!

Let’s hope this money will help with his image and self-confidence, but Karma is a bitch. He took it all , though many felt hurt and disgusted: every single of these won dollars will eventually pay back with hurt and disgust towards Nick.

  • Karmalovesu

Nick is disgusting and would never have gotten to final couple without Rachel. For not acknowledging that fact the boy is a schmuck. He says he played a good game but bottom line he got lucky and then chose to take the money and run. Everyone in the game underestimated him (again lucky for him) and he got his feelings hurt and decided to play dirty. Enjoy the money Nick- the fame won’ t last because no one knows who you are and karma is a b. The only women you will now attract will only be after your money and will be sadly lacking a conscience much like you- enjoy and may your conscience consume your soul…:-))

  • Salley

The only reason Nick was even able to keep all the money was because Rachel was willing to share! Unbelievably selfish human being. Furthermore, they had as partners agreed to share the money should they win. If I were to ever get on this show, I would consider voting to keep all the money, and if the other agreed to share, I would mail him a check for half (minus the taxes the next week). That way, if he voted also to keep, at least I would get a good laugh for my trouble and enjoy seeing those who voted for US get something instead of nothing, including satisfaction. After, when people thought I was greedy too, I would explain my logic. I have never seen this happen before. I am done watching this show anyway. He has all the character of a quiet Sociopath. I couldn’t stand his dead glittering eyes and huge white grinning teeth. I hope someone, someday screws him out of every dime of it and more Women beware of this man in the future. He’d be a one man war of the Roses in a divorce since it is all about ME, ME, ME.

While i feel bad for Rachel, I think Nick deserved the money. Yes, we hardly saw or heard from him but it was a good strategy to stay under the radar. I know a lot of you thought he was selfish, but sitting there watching this unfold IMO he didn’t come off selfish. It’s a game and he played the game. Plus as he said, Rachel didn’t want to stay, all she did was cry and pine over Michael. She didn’t want to be his partner and I sure that didn’t make him feel good. She only stayed becaue Jacklyn talked her into staying, not because of Nick. This was not a good partnership and nick felt ths way and decided to keep ll the money. I was surprised that jacklyn was so mean toward Nick because just minutes before she was bitter toward Rachel, complaining that she was betrayed by her. And Michael should get some dumping on. He definitely led Rachel on. I thought he was totally into Rachel and also thought they would be a couple in the real world. Again, my heart goes out to Rachel and at the same time, nick made a big bold move, you can’t help but admire him for that and applaud him.

  • can’t agree with you….

I’d have to disagree….Everything he said was true. He kept quiet, kept out of the drama…didn’t make friends to feel bad not sharing…and didn’t fall for Rachel’s tears when it came to his decision. I understand Rachel went through a lot…but Nick did nothing wrong….by him staying to himself… allowed no one to hate him, just shows staying clear of the drama allows you to come on top in the end!! :) He deserves this for being the only person to stay out of all the drama…he shouldn’t feel bad because Rachel & Michael didn’t work out…that’s not his problem. He was on the show for the money and won fair and square….and not a sad way of earning it, a smart way.

This was absolutely the best ending ever. I so enjoyed Nick keeping all the money. He wasn’t popular, he wasn’t lying to everyone, he was sort of the quiet guy in the corner, floating by and no one even on to him. He played a good social game, staying out of all the drama, and not selling himself on a tv show, and out lasted all the other players, and also out witted Rachel in the end, hell yeah keep the money in the end, the look on everyone’s faces when he went on this rant of his game play, and everything she said, and then reveals keep, OMG, the best. She did not want to partner up with him, she did say she wanted to leave and he was right, three times she said that to him, maybe she should have kept her mouth shut and played the rest of the game and on live tv kept her mouth shut too, on and on about Michael, OMG, really, Michael is a player. I laughed and laughed, good for Nick, best ending ever on B-pad.

  • Pam Carma

Carma will get him. Carma…the bad kind love people like him who lie, are selfish and will stab anyone for money. It didn’t matter that Rachel didn’t care about him honestly you all realize that didn’t matter. He showed up to the game to win $250,000 not $125,000 and it wouldn’t matter if that was his best bud he would have stabbed anyone for $125,000. It’s not like $250,000 after taxes is enough to live on forever so we’ll see where his life goes when that is gone and he needs character, trust, integrity in his life. Let’s face it when we’re 6′ under our character and the way we treat others matters not an extra $125,000 you received by screwing someone over in a game. I feel sorry for him, he really isn’t a good person.

  • Pam Carma

Drama has nothing to do with with his decision. They won because most voted against Chris…because he showed bad charater. Bottom line, Nick lacks charater and integrity. He told Rachel he was going to share and to screw anyone over for an extra $125,000 is wrong. To the people who feel there is nothing wrong with screwing people over for money…I hope you don’t have children to teach bad morals, lact of integrity and lact of morals is funny, something to clap and cheer about then make up excuses, make it others fault or validate your dishonesty in any way. I’m guessing anyone who supports what he did lives their lives the same way.

  • Anonymous

Nick – I am so proud of you! You showed all the ugly “beautiful people” who thought they couldn’t lose….mostly because beautiful people never seem to lose….and into the bargain, treat anyone they feel is beneath them like crap. You played a great, “under the radar” game, and deserved every one of those 250,000 dollar bills! A good lesson for all the rest…..to never count anyone, especially the quiet ones, out. And Rachel showed why she didn’t deserve any consideration at all. What a classless b*tch. Michael didn’t behave like a great person either….but I can see why he didn’t want anything to do with Rachel. Very interesting show! Congratulations, Nick!

Someone please tell Rachel she has a great action for breach of contract. In the last few moments of tape she says that they both vowed to share the money if they won. If they really both agreed to split the winnings…and she states that they talked numerous times over the prior two weeks…there was a meeting of the minds and Rachel relied on Nick’s promises. Oral agreements are enforceable if they can be fully performed within a year. The terms were clear and her vote to share the money constituted adequate consideration. She fully performed her obligations under the agreement and her damages are actual and not speculative. Depending on what state law applies, she may even be able to recover her legal fees. Even if she signed an expansive release prior to appearing on the show, it probably only encompasses the show’s producers and staff and not other players. Run, Rachel, run…to your attorney.

  • awesome007

You people crack me up, the object of the game is to win 250K, to get to the 250K you must lie, cheat and be as deceitful as possible. Nick kicked azz and won straight up by not doing any of that until the last moment.
Some of you need to go back to school and learn how to spell and write proper sentences.

Jaclyn and the manscaper (whose name I’ve already forgotten) are just plain nasty bitches. Throughout all of their air time on this and the previous seasons they have treated people horribly. Sloppy, nasty, slutty skanks. The type of girls you see in bars, drunk off their asses looking for free drinks and one night stands “a real man to treat em right” LOL… SO SO SO extremely happy neither of them got the cash. Karma is a bitch innit (pun intended). And that whiner Tony… “I’m doin it for my son”.. yeah, we heard ya the first ten times you said it last season. And the proposal? Come on… as if he didn’t just do it for the FREE ring. What a total poser. He’s likes to manscrape. he he

Yeah, Rachael got played by Michael.. boo hoo you’re on TV playing a game doh. Get over it. Nick DESERVED the cash, way to stick it to em!!! Good on you man!!!

  • Doug

    Why doesn’t she sue him?
When she cornered him back stage and stated they’d had an agreement to split it, he answered something like “I know” thereby acknowledging a verbal contract between them. And, as can be gathered from what she also said, that conversation (aka: verbal contract) occured OUTSIDE of the game environment. A contract can be argued as binding even if verbal – it does not have to be in writing- and he was caught on tape admitting he had done that with her. If it were me I would go to a lawyer and have a lien placed on the money placing it in trust pending a court review; then subpeona the video footage – for even though we were privy to a snippet wherein he admitted he made that agreement, there maybe even more that did not get shown. Let the court decide. My bet would be she would be awarded ALL of it – and he would have to pay her court and lawyer fees too. THAT would be justice.

I never watched the show but, caught the season ender at a girlfriends house. Nick you are awesome!! Good job for playing the game and winning the whole thing! When Rachel called him a shmuck he said it perfectly ‘I’m a shmuck with $250,000.’ I busted out laughing because he is right. All in all this was a compition and he was an underdog that no one cared about (which was obvious in the episode) so why wouldn’t he pull a balls out move like that?! Good for him.

  • Anonymous

And like some people are missing another point. He said he would have shared with her (any of them) had she been a team player but, three times she threated to walk. And she even admitted that it was because of Michael telling her to stay not because he asked her to. So, again he played the game smart and savvy and he is $250,000 richer for it. Like the old saying good ‘don’t hate the player, hate the game’

  • Woob1

You people are so lame for hating on someone who was honest and admitted he was just playing the game. They all said they were there for the money. Nick played the game and won. These people are a bunch of fame seeking whores so who cares about them. Nick stuck up for himself and there is no wrong it that. Kudos Nick You Rock!!!

They all lied to each other through out the game. They all admit lying is part of the game. Are they all going to sue each other over every single lie? A court of law would not waste its time on this. He won a game show, fair and square.

  • nancy

She also said she wanted to go home and that she didn’t care about the money. He owes her nothing. He played by the rules and won. They all admit they lie and manipulate because thats part of the game. He did less of that than the others did. A court would throw the case out.
