‘Dancing With The Stars’ Double Elimination, Babyface Edmonds And Vanilla Ice Voted Off ‘DWTS’ (VIDEO)
Babyface Edmonds and Allison Holker, and Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson were the third and fourth pairs eliminated from Season 23 of “Dancing With the Stars” during the show’s first double elimination on Tuesday. Both couples received the lowest scores from the judges and votes from viewer for last week’s dances, resulting in them being sent home. See the video below of the double eliminations.
After the Cirque du Soleil-themed show on Monday, the first dancing pair eliminated was Edmonds and Holker. The two only scored 18 out of 30 points with the tango the night before. After being the third contestants voted off, Edmonds said he was “proud” of what he and Holker had done, and called his time on the show an “amazing experience.”
Before the second elimination of the night, those in jeopardy of being sent home based on the judges’ scores and fan votes were James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson, and Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko. Hinchcliffe and Burgess was a surprise because they had the second highest score on Cirque du Soleil night. In end, Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson were fourth contestants voted off the show.
Edmonds and Vanilla Ice now join Rick Perry and Emma Slater, who were eliminated last week, and Jake Austin and Jenna Johnson, who were the first pair voted off following the show’s premiere.
