August Alsina was involved in a brawl backstage at a weekend concert organized to promote non-violence. Footage of the fight, which occurred at Saturday’s State of Emergency 2 show in St. Louis, surfaced on Monday. Watch the video below.

The “I Luv This Sh*t” singer reportedly showed up late to the show, which raised money for the Put Down The Pistol initiative. According to TMZ, Alsina got into a war of words with concert promoter Loose Cannon Slim backstage. The argument escalated until punches started being thrown. In the video, a shirtless Alsina can be seen flying into the fray after Slim gets knocked to the ground. Fabolous was also on hand, although calmer.

Concert drama is nothing new for Alsina, who was named Best New Artist at last year’s BET Awards. Back in September, the performer suffered multiple seizures, collapsed and fell off stage during a show in New York, winding up in the intensive care unit.

The irony of a backstage brawl at a Martin Luther King Day Weekend concert intending to help curb violence should not be lost on anyone. Alsina has not yet tweeted about the State of Emergency 2 incident. Gossip Cop will have updates. Watch the video below.
