Ashton Kutcher and his pals at PopChips put together an absolutely hysterical TMZ parody.

The actor, himself a frequent target of the paparazzi, heads up an office for a show called “POP,” where employees shout out story ideas about… TMZ staffers.

“POP” turns the cameras on Harvey Levin, Dax Holt and the rest of the TMZ crew, invading their privacy as they go about their everyday lives.

Pretty much exactly what TMZ does to celebrities.

The video captures the tone, graphics, pacing and editorial style perfectly.

    This is absolutely hysterical! Get all those paps! It would be interesting to turn the tables on all of them. I think that TMZ took it well. They should try X17, they might get hit because they are nothing but criminals. That’s right… give them some of their own medicine!

    I LOVE THIS!!!! GO ASHTON, YOU ROCK! I think you should make this a regular thing… Stalk TMZ! Let them know how it feels to have no privacy, no secrets. To have pure B.S. made up about THEM! I would watch that show every week! I think it’s sickening that they’re allowed to get away with the things they do. (Not just TMZ, but all of the paparazzi) I have my favorite stars, but I don’t need to know the details of their wedding, or see pictures of them with their kids during private moments… I won’t even look at these trash mags, much less buy them — or watch them on TV.
    Anyway — congrats to you! And personally, I hope you keep it up. THAT I *will* watch! :)
