Social media maven Ashton Kutcher has been tapped to star as Apple creator Steve Jobs in an independent film titled Jobs, his rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

The biopic will chronicle “Jobs from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple, where he became one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of our time,” says Variety.

Jobs is slated to go into production in May when Kutcher is off from shooting “Two and a Half Men.”

Awards don’t really mean anything at the end of the day and there’s plenty of people that have been nominated for and or won consecutive awards in the past. Natalie Cole won the Best Female RNB Vocal Grammy 4 years running 1976 1977 1978 & 1979 there are a dozen actors and actresses to be nominated for or win consecutive or near consecutive oscars Spencer Tracy Luise Rainer Bette Davis Loretta Young Grace Kelly Bing Crosby Frank Sinatra Paul Newman Tom Hanks & Nicole Kidman right Newmans consecutive noms were 1967 best actor in a leading role Cool Hand Luke and 1968 best picture Rachel Rachel though Rod Stiger won for in the Heat of The Night and John Wolfe Won for Oliver Respectively

What in the hell does your odd, run-on of an awards recap have ANYTHING to do with Kutcher playing Jobs?

  • Guest

the only reason he has been cast is because he looks like jobs , it sure as hell isn’t his acting ability which is average at best

  • Brenda

He does resemble Steve Jobs, the acting… depends pretty much on the director. The one thing I do know is that Ashton Kutcher sure looks a hell of a lot better with a shave and haircut.
