Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti are divorcing.

“We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We’ll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed,” the couple says in a statement.

The actress wed the race car driver in 2001.

    I hate those stupid blanket statements they make when they’re breaking up — we will always be family and continue to cherish our relationship … blah, blah, blah. If they really respected and cherished each other they would work on their marriage and not give up as soon as they hit a rough patch. Eleven years is a long time to give to another person — why can’t these “stars” work through their problems/issues and try to make a marriage last? What happened to loyalty?
