Arsenio Hall Suing Sinead O’Connor For Claiming He Supplied Prince With Drugs
As Gossip Cop has reported, the official cause of Prince’s death has yet to be disclosed since toxicology reports are still pending. But on Wednesday, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Attorney’s Office joined the investigation into Prince’s death to determine whether or not it was drug related, as has been widely speculated.
On her Facebook page earlier this week, O’Connor wrote, “Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades… Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s b*tch). Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land.” The singer added, “Arsenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sheriff’s office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy’s house. You bet get tidying your man cave.”
Hall is vehemently denying all of O’Connors allegations, including that he ever spiked her drink during a party. In his legal filing, the former talk show host calls the singer a “desperate attention-seeker,” and further insists he hasn’t been in contact with her for 25 years. Hall also claims in court papers that O’Connor “detested” Prince, which is one of the reasons she’s lashing out against the late singer. Hall added in his $5 million suit, “[She’s] well known for her media antics and for seeking attention through inflammatory Facebook posts.”
