Arsenio Hall Wins Celebrity Apprentice

Truth rating: 10

RECAP

Arsenio Hall and Clay Aiken faced off on the live “Celebrity Apprentice” finale on Sunday.

But, only one of them was told “You’re hired!”

In their final challenge, the two contestants were asked to put together a celebrity charity event, with the help of their former competitors.

Last week, viewers saw both Hall and Aiken struggling to not only work efficiently with their former rivals, but also to raise the most money.

Ultimately, they each managed to pull off great variety shows – but then had to face Donald Trump in the boardroom.

Hall and Aiken both made the case for why they deserved to be the next “Celebrity Apprentice,” and the fired contestants weighed in as well.

It was revealed Aiken raised $301,500 for the National Inclusion Project, nearly double the $167,100 Hall raked in for the Magic Johnson Foundation.

But Trump insisted his final decision would be based on not just their financial success, but also the production of their event and the creativity of the PSAs they made in support of their charities.

In the end, Trump – who said he had “never been so torn” before – decided to hire Hall!

What do you think of the new “Celebrity Apprentice” winner?

What a joke. Clay raised more money, had a better show (not vulger like Arsenio’s) and his PSA was better.

  • Guest

This is no surprise. Arsenio should not have won. Neither one was a fav of mine but clay was the better player and should have won.

    What a disappointment.

  • Ken M

Money raised was not the only criteria. Whose show and PSA was the best is subjective. Personally I liked AH’s show if for no reason other than the fact that CA’s show was tired, with old music sung by washed up performers.

Arsenio did a better job when viewed in the totality of the season IMO and that is why he won.

One side note: I am glad he won just to stick a red hot poker in the oppressively out-sized ego of Aubrey O’Day. I really hate that slag and seeing her PM lose was worth it.

  • Mo

Darn…for some gut-instinct reason I was rooting for Clay. I felt he truly had a better show and production. I felt Hall was slightly self serving. Oh well. Good show!

  • SirCharles

If you have more friends that could give money, would that qualify one as the apprentice? Clearly not and not all about money. Arsenio won more tasks, in fact never lost, and PSA was argubly better. His stock is all headed in the right direction ( with upcoming show) and gave more emotion and desire to win in his final interviews. I think Trump was right, very close, but Arsenio by a hair.

  • Napoleon0725

Love them both! Donald got it right. Congrats to Arsenio!

  • Old Timer

Wow, Clay should’ve won, although both of them were my favorites.

  • Shonnyo

    Congratulations Arsenio! Well deserved!

  • Disappointed

I can’t believe Clay did not win. In the past, it has always been about how much money was raised for charity. But, if that was not the case, Clay definitely had the best show. This show is on NBC and I think the winner was picked to further promote a new NBC talk show. I liked Arsenio and Clay and, in view of the end result, it should have been a tie!

  • Tanyamorrow

I agree! There must be more going on behind the scenes because arsenio shouldn’t have even been in the finals, nevertheless won it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1476729853 Teresa Bollig

    LOVE IT THAT ARSENIO WON!

  • Shocked

Dumb choice Trump. Clays was smart and classy and professional, Arsenio was not as strong. Clay’s final project was better in all three areas than Arsenio’s and he raised double the money. Arsenio was really good at kissing up to Trump though, probably from all the practice kissing up to Magic Johnson.

  • Guest

Exactly, arsenio was vulgar, way over emotional and offensive.

  • http://www.indiestyletv.com/ Leahdevon

Arsenio was a better, undefeated player. Team Arsenio!!!!!!!

  • Bosox11493

Won’t be watching any future seasons of celebrity apprentice as I lost all respect for the show and mr trump tonite. What in the world was the decision based on??? Clay raised over double what arsenio did, his variety show was leaps and bounds better, and he fielded questions/interviewed better. He is just a classier act. I totally don’t get it!!!

  • Guest

I’m surprised too! Thought Clay had it in the bag, especially since he raised twice as much money as Arsenio.

  • Successfulcafe

Are you kidding me? I agree what a joke this was. There was not a doubt as to who should have won

  • WATCH YOUR MOUTH

I AM HAPPY ARSENIO WON!!! I LIKE CLAY BUT I AM HAPPY HE DIDN’T WIN. LISA IS A BACK STABBING LOUD MOUTH RUDE UGLY FAT DISGUSTING PIG AND AUBREY CAN SUCK A FAT ONE. SHE IS DISRESPECTFUL AND HAVE A FOUL NASTY MOUTH AND IS NAKED ALL OVER THE INTERNET..NEITHER ONE REPRESENT WOMEN, POOR DAYNA LISA TREATED HER SO BAD ! ARSENIO HAS BEEN IN SHOW BIZ FOR YEARS AND HIS TALENT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.. EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THE CAST WAS BACK STABBING ARSENIO HE STILL WON SO THERE IN YOUR FACE LISA TAKE YOUR 10K AND INVEST IN A FACE LIFT YOU HOG!!!!

  • Georgia Boy

It was VERY close. So happy for Arsenio, he really got into it and was strong all the way around. Good job Clay, especially withy the $$$. But Arsenio just did a bit better and Clay played it safer during the season. Arsenio won more tasks. Trump got it right!

  • Mnozea

I think they both did great jobs and it was anyone’s game. Clay raised the most money on this task but Arsenio was undefeated and did a great job by bringing in a lot of star power,i.e. Whoppi Goldberg. All of the celebrities at his (AH) party were mingling, taking pictures with the guest. I would have rather been at that party then Clay’s circus. The circus was better in terms of planning and details, but at the end of the day would you rather attend an eloborate circus or a party where the drinks are flowing and celebrities are mingling with the guest???

  • Tharrison5

Hattielee2, you are absolutly correct, Trump sold himself out!! Its not who raised the most money and who had the best show–But bre politically corect!! Sad Sad Donald your true colors came thru- will be hard for you to sell the show agan

  • Sexy Clay

YAY!!!! I think Arsenio did a GREAT job and had a great overall record on the show. I agree the both shows were awesome. It would have been almost impossible for me to decide,… their track records would help me make my decision and break the tie. Clay waited to show his leadership at the end.

  • Mary

I have mixed feelings. I am supportive of Clay’s charity because many deaf children are mainstreamed in public schools and need to be included. I miss Arsenio’s group performance. I wish that Clay win cuz he raised more money. He seems to be a natural leader while Arsenio seems to be emotional and offensive. I realized that Arsenio won more tasks. It is a tough decision for Trump to make choice.

  • Dog Pound

Arsenio for the WIN! The Arsenio PSA was tied into the performance better. “That was us in the 80′s”….Clay just used blob at beginning and that was it. Then old stars just sang songs from yersteryear. It was good, but Arsenio’s was better and tied to the charity better. Go Arsenio!!!

  • http://twitter.com/rewith85man Ernest DeBrew III

I am glad for both Arsenio and Clay. They are winners in my eyes.

I am relieved that Aubrey O’Day was not a finalist. She really showed her ego. And if she thinks she has made fans and supporters, I would promise her that I am not one of them. I cannot stand her and I hope not to see her face again.

  • Tharrison5

absolutly correct- Donald you lost you future audinece

  • Ferngoodale

I noticed that Trump asked Arsenio if he was serious about what he’d said, about…if he won he would always ( can’t remember the words verbatium) plug Trump if he picked him! Arsenio answered him w/ a yes, I found that strange and knew right then & there , Trump was going to pick him!
    Clay should have Won!!!

  • Guest

@Shocked – you got it, I saw the same arsenio always kissing up to trump. Also, trump would constantly praise arsenio.

    Again, he shouldn’t have won.

  • Colep1

Clay Akin cheated….AGAIN! He was by far superior in all his tasks. He raised more money and was a better boss. Trump got it wrong! Arseno lived off Magic Johnson. He was insecure and sloppy. I will no longer watch the show. Lost all respect for Trump.

  • Heavenlylil

Congratulations Arsenio Hall, on your Celebrity Apprentice Win!!!

  • Amy

Are you kidding me? I can’t believe it. Clay should of won. What was Trump thinking. His show was so much better, not vulgar. I would like to know how he based his decision. I won’t be watching apprentice again.

  • Winner

Arsenio was the best choice for Celebrity Apprentice for multiple reasons. Arsenio’s promised but contingent loyalty is good business for both the the Trump industry and Arsenio Hall. Most of the hiring and firing on this show are about future value.

  • Getnatu

Hey, when you are watching the game from the sideline it is easy to criticize and complain. This was nothing less than “May the best man wins. I’m happy with the outcome and remain loyal admirer of the show.

  • Heavenlylil

Stop with all the H8! Arsenio was an excellent player, and he kept it real, the entire time. Ultimately it was Donald Trump’s decision and not yours. I’m just saying…how about that! Just keeping it real…lol :-)

  • Vic

I will never watch this show again, Arsenio did nothing to earn the Celebrity Apprentice title.
    Trump is a DB!

  • Laura

Yes, of course Clay was the clear winner here! I think the Donald didn’t have it in him to hire a gay man. So sad! I do love Arensio, and he will definetley make a comeback with a new talk show.

  • Heavenlylil

Arsenio was not vulger. Lisa Lampanelli was the vulgar one, during the comedy routine. Did we watch the same program??? Again, stop with the H8!!!

  • CassieInVa

I’m so disappointed in Donald. He must have had an ulterior motive – perhaps he feels Arsenio will be in a better position to boost future Celebrity Apprentice ratings if he gets his talk show? Or Arsenio has more “hollywood and industry” friends? Clay played fair, didn’t resort to nasty foul name calling (Did Donald forget Arsenio calling Aubrey a Wh__ and B____? Really Donald…. what were you thinking? I can’t believe all of THAT was left out of the clips/discussions tonight.

Been a fan since the beginning; but this will be my last year watching… Just can’t get past this.

  • Guest

Who is hating?? Did you read my comments? I am expressing my opinion, and my opinion is that he shouldn’t have won, clay was the better player. What exactly is hateful about my comments. Just saying, how about that — keeping it real.

  • smiles

I am sure the show will go on even if those of you who are disappointed don’t watch. Arsenio worked hard for this victory, respect it.

  • Cosmo

I think that Clay Aiken should have won but given Donald Trump’s narcissism, it is no surprise that Arsenio won. Just like when Joan Rivers won, it was a strategic move by Donald Trump as to which finalist could do more good (and/or more harm) to him and his brand. If Arsenio really does get back into the late night talk show arena, Trump just bought himself a boatload of free air time and advertisements. The best that Clay Aiken could do is write a song for him. Based on the money raised, what they showed of both areas, their charity awareness videos, their performances and the input of the other celebrities I really don’t see how Arsenio excelled in any area let alone a majority of them. Oh well, it was a fun show while it lasted but I’ve officially retired from watching it.

  • An_geni19

I dont know how some of you are saying clay raised more money when even without the extra 250 thousand arsenio still brought in over 500 thousand compared to clays 361 thousand dollars, so that arguments lost and arsenio definitely deserved the win!!

  • An_geni19

    in TOTAL

  • Letters

Arsenio definitely had more connections and could’ve brought in more money. He has so many connections, last time Jay Leno sent him a blank check, he knows so many people that could’ve given money.

  • Ramjamman

It’s obviously a set-up to hype Arsenio’s new show. I don’t think I’ll be watching in the future.

  • Lindsey

I’m glad Arsenio won, I think he truly wanted it more.
I wouldn’t have been mad if Clay had won though, they were both very good

  • Anon123

Clay should have won…can’t believe he raised that much money AND did a better job than Arsenio.

  • Jeffblewis

Trump is way to big on fox news and conservative media to choose a gay man, especially in the current political climate. Plus hiring Arsenio gives him the “my best friend is black” defense when he goes on Fox and Friends to bash Obama.

  • Mjdude21

to all you who said clay should have won, you have to realize you are not a rich business person like trump you wouldnt hire for the same reason he would, i see why you would said clay should have one but look at it from how he explained it, he said he wasnt basing his decision on the money made. just please stop calling trump a sell out and all that crap, he made his decision, DEAL WITH IT.

  • Amnethstardragon

Trump did the same thing for Joan Rivers. Annie Duke raised far more money, but Trump chose Joan Rivers. Is this any surprise?

  • GingerL

The fix was in from Day one that’s why Penn was fired to make sure Arsenio wouldn’t be picked off because Penn and Clay were the best players and Aubrey and Lisa too disliked throughout the season. Penn was a thread to Arsenio and Donald underestimated Clay. This was Arsenio’s win regardless of how he played. He was okay. That’s about it.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_BOVGSJTBPYXEE5CBYYD2OJS6FI Jon

Clay Aiken… forever in second place.

  • Jorgee

Clay lost because his perception of winning ” singing the same old song, I lost on American Idol.” Therefore, I deserve to win. He also chose to attack Dayana to appeace Liza! Liza next time write a check as big as your filthy mouth and NOSE and then maybe, just maybe your man will win! Arsenio deserved to win and Yes, the show will go on! I can hardly wait for next season. Thank you Donald Trump!!!

  • Fai

Only Donald Trump votes and he wanted Arsenio.

  • Lisaaatkins

Holly Ribinson Pete was the better player last year, I think it was, & did not win, because maybe her opponent got sympathy votes or maybe because Mr. Trump just has better instincts than you & I. Become as successful as Donald Trump & then maybe you can decide the winner, until then, quit complaining. He’s smart enough to see through Lisa & Aubrey’s BS, surely he can decide the Celebrity Apprentice! I liked both finalists, and I’m happy with Mr. Trump decision, since he IS the BOSS!!! Congrats to Arsensioooooooooooo HALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!

  • MVB

Arsenio had no business being in the finals, much less winning it. PUH leeze. This is the first year I disagreed with Trump, and I don’t know that next year I will spend my precious TV time watching a shill of a show. It is obvious to me that the show was used to promote NBC’s next late night host (wanna-be Arsenio).

He is pathetic. He lost on every count. He lost not just to Clay Aiken, but he also lost to Aubrey O ‘Day, Lisa Lampanelli, and Penn Jillette. He lost even before he showed his covert, sleazy, sexist side in the boardroom attacking O’ Day. He lost because HE was the one who wasn’t genuine. HE was the one who was sneaking around presenting a fake front to the camera. I am a poker player. I can read people for the “truth” all day, as I am sure many of you out there can do too. This man was the most fake of them all. At least, O’ Day actually believed nothing could happen without her. That was real! Lampanelli and Penn were real too. Clay is politically correct in his responses which always leaves a little truth on the table, but he was 1000 x more real than Arsenio. A shill of a man wins a shill of a show.

A side note about the dingbat, Miss Universe, whom will go unnamed in this comment, as she has gotten way too much air time… She is just another example of Trump using his show to shamelessly shill his product. That is one product I wouldn’t want to be associated with, IF I wanted to be taken seriously. She is a joke, which makes the Trump brand a joke too.

I am most disappointed to find out that the man who is known as the TRUMP brand is actually weaker than we all thought. He actually caved into Big Business, Who’s $$Who, Big TV, Little Network etc. I loved the Trump brand, because it stood for strength. No more! Mr. Trump, along with his brand has caved, along with the show. Too bad. It was one of my top 3 shows. I will not watch it again without a retraction of Arsenio as the Apprentice. It takes a REAL man to admit when he is wrong, and that is the only way Donald Trump can reclaim his brand and his name, in my opinion.

  • Babyboomer403

You spoke the Truth if I ever heard it! Did you see Arsenio on the View this week? It was obvious he knew he had it in the bag. There is nothing real about Reality TV. It’s all a sham. BTW, I stopped watching CA several weeks ago because it was sooo boring. I just googled to see who won! LOL

  • Henry Armstrong

    THE CHARITIES WON !!!!!!!!!

  • Hildegard

Clay should of won.. He deserved it more!.. WAY MORE…

  • Andrew Wilborne

Clay’s show and PSA were no way near as good as Arsenio’s…NOT EVEN CLOSE!

  • Henry Bailin

Arsenio Hall is a phoney. I am sick and tired of his put on emotions, eye rolls, and I can’t believe he won. CA shame on you.

  • Alex124

    I could not agree more.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001579047169 Shauntel Glover

Yay Arsenio thanks for raising aids awareness in black communities

  • Alex1234

You must be a Trump Staffer….gimmee-a-break!

  • CM

Way to go Arsenio! I’ve seen Clay Aiken in every episode, a weak leader who is afraid of taking risk, always playing safe, siding the bullies, stuck up who thinks he knows everything…always be in 2nd place!

  • Denisehall

Arsenion is so transparent…his put on emotions are nothing new…wherever he appears (i.e. The View) he projects an “innocense” that make me puke, rolls his eyes…i am so upset he will be coming back to TV.

Donald, your show is such a farse!

  • TrumpCanSuckIt

I never watch this show, but my roommate was watching and halfway through the show I knew Arsenio would win, simply because they kept touting him as a “Late Night Legend” (lol what a crock, his talk show sucked and didn’t last very long) and also because he’s black. I even told my roommate this at the time. No surprise, the fix was in, just like Obama getting reelected in November, just you wait and see.

  • Probinsom

    I so agree with you!,,,

  • JohnTillis

Self serving…..that’s an understatement. He is the biuggest phoney on the planet, and a no-talent!

  • Don

I have watched my last Celebrity Apprentice; there won’t be another for me. I wonder what criteria Trump was using to make his decision Clay had more money and a show that knocked Arsenio’s lame effort out of the ballpark. I am tired of these time wasters. There is better entertainment to be had, thank you .
Or was it pre-ordained that a black had to win this one. Sign me Totally Disgusted

  • Sandy Matt

everyone on this show was asked to take their sides- Arsenio or Clay. I hate all of those Clay supporters. Way to go Arsenio. “if you’re not first your last” you know the feeling clay.

  • Bobwatford

Arsenio seems racist, and kind of sucked thoughout the show. Wait, black people aren’t racist. It’s ok for them to constantly see and talk about race, but not anyone else.
Either way, Clay was robbed for obvious reasons. This way Trump can take credit for Arsenio’s possible future show.

  • Stockjoy

When all is said & done two great charities are the winners. Hats off to Clay & Arsenio! I think Clay’s downfall was Aubrey’s ego which is sickening at best. Her ideas were never rated highly by the clients of the challenges, her challenge wins were not based on her ideas but rather on the input of her team members.

  • Kimbo2000_98311

Clay should have won – Hands Down!!!!

  • Rosemary

Clay was a better project manager, raised more money, and put on a family friendly show.

  • bsbfankaren

Arsenio wasn’t vulgar, Lisa Lampenelli was vulgar. Everyone has there own level of emotional committment to a project, but I absolutely loved seeing Arsenio tell Aubrey O’Day off!

  • HARTNETT1969

Clay so should have won. I like both but come on………what was shown to the tv audience was a land slide. Clay should have won. Especially when I found out what his final total was. Way to go Clay!!!!! Donald YOUR FIRED!

  • Helen_Kline

I AM SO TIRED OF Arsenio’s PUT ON EMOTIONS…notice how he rolls his eyes and looks skyware every time he is asked any question….if he was hooked up to a lie detector he would be shown to be a world class liar. I’d like to see all contestants hooked up to a lie detector.

Get a life Arsenio…but PLEASE stay off of TV. You are a no-talent as a host.

  • Anonymous

I was on the fence about Clay until he joined in with Lisa in mistreating Dayana. For that reason alone, I’m glad he lost!

  • Bobwatford

Trump should have just said to Clay before the final show taping….”Clay…you’re going to be a yuuge success, I just know you will. Even if you do a better show, raise more money, I’ll still have to give this one to Arsenio. Sure he’s racist, calls women whores, has serious mental health issues….but Clay….he’s black….he’s going to have a talk show….and I and the Celebrity Apprentice franchise can take credit for that. Now go out there and make me proud!”
I mean, even Trump didn’t have the gonads to ask any serious questions in the boardroom (that had to be the weakest ‘boardroom’ in Apprentice history) because he knew it would expose his already made up mind’s decision as ridiculous.

  • http://www.stocktonflowers.info/ stockton flower delivery

The fired contestants weighed in as well.

  • MVB

Funny! If he had done that, it would have lent a him a little credibility:)

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Faizal-Junus/733790083 Faizal Junus

Between Clay and Arsenio, Clay should have won. However among the final four, I thought Aubrey and Lisa would be the finalists. As disgusting as they were, Aubrey and Lisa seemed to be stronger players. I disliked them both but truthfully they should have been in the finals.

  • Diesel21

Wow, you can’t get past it?! It’s a television show, sheesh.

  • MVB

I just read somewhere that Magic Johnson has made a deal with Comcast, NBC’s parent company, to start his own channel “Aspire.” I don’t know if that is 100% true, but it sounds about right.

  • Duranduo

Clay Aiken should have won…as a loyal viewer I was robbed!!!! $250,000 is just a drop in the bucket for the Magic Johnson Foundation, but it would have made a significant difference for Clay’s charity!!!! I hope Arsenio does the right thing and give Clay’s charity half the money!!!!!!

  • Vegasjune

Dude you are so right I could not stand Aubrey. Also is she really a celebrity, I didn’t know she had album. Her attitude was messed up.

  • Vegasjune

Arsenio got vulgar because Aubrey was a rat. She was all about herself and never did anything but tried to take over task.

  • OIC

Love Arsenio but his pick as winner was totally political on Trump’s part. With 4 white previous winners he had to pick Hall. Between the two finalists, Clay was a much better player and his final task was much more creative.

And, even though I dislike them both, I was surprised Aubrey and Lisa weren’t the 2 finalists. But then, Trump’s firing them both was again totally political. He used them as long as he could, as they brought drama, fights and RATINGS to his show.

But in the end, Trump couldn’t have a crass, dirty-mouthed, rude, abrasive Lisa or a bullying, back stabbing and ruthless Aubrey as his representative as The Celebrity Apprentice.

  • Gayle

The same thing happened when Joan Rivers and Annie Duke were in the finals. Annie raised almost $500k, Joan only raised $151k, and Joan won…so it is not about the money it is about who won the most tasks during the show.

  • Vegasjune

Wow Helen well your wrong Arsenio will be around while Clay will fade into the sunset. Clay is not a real celebrity neither is Aubrey.

  • Vegasjune

Ok first of all Arsenio was undefeated on the show. Clay is not a real celebrity he lost on a reality show and his album was horrible.

  • Vegasjune

Arsenio never lost a task, so who was the better player?

  • Vegasjune

Wow well your wrong Clay raised a good amount for charity, but Arsenio never lost a task, thats why he won.

  • Ebec11

But the routine was PLANNED, Arsenio had to approve both Adam’s (who I thought was vulgar as well, especially with the kids in the audience from Clay’s carnival) and Lisa’s routine. I know since they’re comedians, they don’t go word by word, but they HAD to have approval from Arsenio! The only one that went off-script was Paul Sr.

  • Donald

Arsenio was obviously fake. He wouldn’t have won tasks without O’day’s help.

  • Vegasjune

That is the most ridiculos thing I have ever seen. Clay lost because Arsenio won more task period. You are a horrible racist bastard.

  • joanne

Clay should have won!!!!!!!!…Guess Trump wanted to keep in good with the big night time boys !!!

  • Sofatato

I totally agree! Clay was professional the whole way, with no inappropriate cursing rants or embarrasing emotional fits like Arsenio. I assumed that is why Lisa was fired – notice her breakdowns replayed on the finale yet Arsenio’s were downplayed? I really believe this is about promoting another NBC show- Arsenio at Nite or something…just wait & see! Did anyone elae think Arsenio’s variety performance waas too vulgar? I saw at keast one child at the event and it was never even mentioned. I’m in agreement with many of you saying you will no longer watch Celebrity Apprentice. A shame, because I used to really enjoy it! But it is clearly unfair and possibly controlled from the get go, as Arsenio should have been fired weeks ago for all his crazy outbursts- anyone remember Meatloaf?
    Pissed in Phx!

  • JAZ

Things that make you go hmmmmm…

It was announced in February that Comcast=NBC would be launching Magic Johnson’s TV Network Aspire.

The two tasks Arsenio won were the ONLY two tasks that involved CONTINUED sponsorship for the winning PM.

From the very start Arsenio said that if he won, “I will spend the rest of my days promoting you, Mr. Trump”.

You call someone a bitch, cunt and whore, kiss Trump’s ass for the entire show, let your team do all the work (creatively and execution of task) and reap the rewards, sing the praises of your “lil brother” competitor…and then allow him to be roasted with a filthy gay “joke”,,,,and you win Celebrity Apprentice.

  • Vegasjune

Thank you sir. Some people are so blind and a racist its sucks.Arsenio was undefeated in his task, thats why he won. Also ask yourself is Clay even a real celebrity. Also Screw Aubrey she was a disrespectful as non-celebrity.

  • nitenite

you have to be kidding right?

  • Vegasjune

Aubrey O day is a nobody. Clay is a never was. Arsenio won because he won the most task. Aubrey O Day is a dumb bitch and Arsenio should have slap that hoe.

  • Bobwatford

Clay won the only task that mattered….the final one. As for racists….well….the only person talking about race over and over and over and over on the Apprentice was Arsenio. Of course ‘racism’ will never end. Racist black people would have nothing to talk about…

  • nitenite

Clay Aiken should have won. Lisa and Aubrey were the most hateful human beings on the show. I will not watch C.A. next season, done with all the crap and can find better use of my time.

  • Joyo

Clay was a far superior project leader than Arsenio. He actually worked with his team and put on a fantastic party that involved more than standing around drinking. He didn’t rely on his celebrity connections, unlike Arsenio who had Whoopi Goldberg as some sort of ‘date’ and Magic Johnson
as his big time connection. Clay’s entertainment was really entertaining and the video was engaging and informative. Arsenio’s comedy was lame, to say the least. Without using the F word, there wasn’t much said. He obviously didn’t give his team any direction and let them do any old junky, stale material. Not funny….at all. Trump totally missed the boat. He shied away from selecting an openly gay celebrity. He caved in to political correctness. He cemented his relationship with Magic Johnson, an entrepeneur who wil best benefit him in future ventures. Trump is so transparent. It’s all about him, his ego and his future. There is a reason Arsenio hasn’t been on late nite tv, or any tv…….he really doesn’t have charisma or charm, no talent, no leadership skills. The ending was not a surprise. Trump is predictable. Can’t wait to see what spin Trump will put on this farcical ending.

  • Toyoftyg

Was so disappointed with Time Warner! They lost their feed here and we didn’t get to see the last 10 minutes of the show. Liked them both but felt Clay and his team did a better job.

I thought this show was about raising money for charities. Although the Aids Foundation is a good cause, every celebrity will get behind that charity plus its something that could be controlled if people were more responsible. Clay’s charity was for children with diabilities – they have no control over that. All and all, Arsenio skated through to the finals. Clay worked harder for HIS charity, raised more money and deserved to win. I didn’t like Aubrey but she was in the finals, either was Lisa so who cares. I’m not a fan of any of them. I think since Arsenial is coming out with a new show, Trumps wants his fingers in the pie. Arsenio is a loser anyway you look at it

  • LadyTruth

It’s a fund raiser for charity PEOPLE….come on! It’s Donald’s show and they agree to come on the show to raise money for their charity. Did they raise money and awareness – yes. Mission accomplished! It was Don’s choice and he chose Arsenio. If you don’t like or agree with it, get a show and let’s see what you can do.

  • Prr_wlkr

I liked both and decided beforehand that I’d be happy with either, but if i had to choose I’d
choose arsenio to win because i hated Aubrey and lisa. LISA clearly tried sabatage and aubrey was on the other team.

  • Lisaaatkins

Both are GREAT guys, so I don’t see why people would knock either. Black or white does not matter, Arsenio won by a nose!!! Race is not the issue here. If Mr. Trump just wanted a black CA, then there would have been more black contestants. Arsenio has been around for a long time & I have never heard any bad news reports about him. He’s a father, a family man and a funny comedian. so I think a lot of these comments are very misplaced. Let him enjoy his victory!!!

  • Sue

Or anyones help. O’day is a piece of work, but at least she says what she feels.

  • Sdarnell49

Well Arsenio didn’t raise anything in past tasks! He should have been booted when His raised a big fat zero several tasks back.

  • Sofatato

OMG! You are so right! When he asked Lisa and Dayana to ask Arsenio a question, i scratched my head at their ridiculous questions AND why Trump wasted that time… All the previous finalists had to answer tough questions from Trump and this was almost obvious. He had decided the week when Arsenio SHOULD have been fired, or probably at the very beginning now that I think about it…. D’ oh!
    What a tool!
Clay, YOU are the real winner in the MAJORITY OF VIEWERS EYES! ( Five seconds after the show! I googled ” Clay should have won!” and the first 8 entries were ALL saying the same! Shows that America is OUTRAGED! Big mistake, Huge mistake Trump! Lol!)
    Whew, i feel a little better… ;-)

  • Cat

It was a surprise that AH even made the finals. CA raised more money and had a much better show and worked better with more of the other celebrities. totally disappointed

  • Mrhein2

Uh, Clay had more financial supporters.. hello?? He is a bigger celeb than Arsenio. Like Arsenio himself said.. ” Some people thought I was dead”.

  • terri

Well, this is sweet. I liked both men. I wanted Arsenio to win but I felt Clay did much better. I’m just wondering if Trump picked Arsenio to get the heat off himself for not picking more black ppl to win? In any means, they both won a great deal of money for their charity and that’s the most important thing here. As for they’re behavior, they both had some frustration but clay was more respectable. The slip of the tongue made Arsenio realized think before speech which this show is a lesson for all of them and was a great experience for them. They’re human and humans make mistakes especially when the heat is on and the pressure is overwhelming. Stuff happens. Congrats to both of you Arsenio and Clay.

  • Jpheybl

I was shocked that Clay didn’t win. What a disappointment. I agree that the show is not worth watching anymore. Mr Trump never addressed the foul language in Arsenios show which was atrocious. Clays carnival for kids was so mu ch more inventive than Arsenio’s boooring cocktail party. Thank you Clay for showing how a gentleman acts. We love you. You are 1st place in my mind.

  • Mrhein

Losing a task depending on the circumstances did not always mean you did poorly.
clay was the superoir player in a close contest. I believe he en because of his stated life long commitment to the Trump banner.

  • Mrhein2

In the end nothing changes, Clay is still a runner up and Trump has Arsenio to kiss his ass.

  • Tiffanybest

Thats not true, the year Joan Rivers won she did not raise more money than that poker player.

  • Bobwatford

I know!! That had to be the softest ‘boardroom’ ever. And the only reason was ‘The Donald’ didn’t want to make himself look any more silly when he announced Arsenio as the winner.

  • guest

I definitely agree! All these people saying he wasn’t a strong player is ridiculous. He was unbelievable, and should have won. I’m glad its not all about who raised the most money. Good job Arsenio!!!! I liked Clay, but I thought he was a little fake, and he definitely kissed ass!

  • guest

Im sure the show will survive without you watching. Arsenio was a great player and I definitely think he should have won. He never lost a challenge and Clay wasn’t all that! I did respect Clay, but you are acting like he was better than Mr. Trump himself, what a joke!

  • Bobwatford

Amazing Arsenio ‘the celebrity’ could barely come up with ‘half’ the donations that the ‘nobody’ Clay came up with huh? The piddly amount of donations Arsenio got from some yuuuuge names kind of says it all and what his ‘friends’ think of him

  • Cwsweets

I have to agree. I too will no longer watch and have lost respect for Mr. Trump. To pick Arsenio over Clay was a slap in the face. Clay played a better game over all, without having to use foul language in the process. He was able to put the same women in her place without using disreputable language and disrespecting himself. Arsenio showed me nothing during the game. Clay showed the man he has grown into, and someone I would want to call my friend. Arsenio would just as soon stab you in the back with a smile on his face. No thank you. Mr. Trump, you made a big mistake tonight.

  • Edgarrunz

Look what posting on the internet has done. It gives punk @ss people the balls to say something that they would not say around the people similar to the one that they are attacking. Boy, your are a tough guy.

  • Cwsweets

I agree whole heartily. Couldn’t have said it better.

  • Cwsweet

Clay is a never was? that raised twice the money that Arsenio did. And your mouth is a vile as Arsenio’s ever was and one that I totally disrespect. You don’t need to use vile words to get your point across if you an ounce of intelligence.

  • Cwsweet

You are so on the money. Trump….You’er FIRED!!!!

  • Cwsweets

    My Final Word….Trump…You’re FIRED!!!!

  • Cwsweets

    So very true….Trump…You’re FIRED!!!!!!

  • rocky

Well deserved arsenio. You were undefeated. You raised the most money thru out the comp. You exposed the fraud in aubrey. You took risks. And finally u win. Good call by the donald.

  • Rhodzie

    Very true!

  • Hibbert89

If you’re gay or les you would think Clay should have won!!

  • cg3

don’t believe arsenio is racist. ok so he lost it once with aubrey – i think most people would have lost it with her as well. Clay was disrespectful to Adriana. he was like Lisa in discounting others in his company, whereas arsenio was mellow and empowered others, where Clay often was rigid and uptight on many occasions.

The right man won. Think Mr Trump did have a very close call and he made the right one.

    Great show.

  • justin

Celebrity apprentice was fixed for arsenio to win to promote his new show on nbc

  • anonymous network exec

I do hope you all know that this was fixed weeks ago to have AH win to promote his new show on NBC and so Trump could take credit for it like the show says its all about the money Trump’s money and stock plus of a partnership deal with magic johnson and walgreens tied into it

  • Arseniorules

Arsenio won because he was the best. Stop your racist comments. He has more charisma and is more a people person than Clay, who mistreated Dayanna.

  • J.R.

Alright listen up. The only reason Clay lost. He did not “man” up! When disgusting Liza came with check in hand, the “man” thing to do was send her packing! A man wins or loses his battles, but at the end of the day, a man has to answer to himself. Imagine, a man from the Trump organization, crossing the line, goes to the competition with ” check in hand” to help the “adversary”. The minute Clay accepted that check his scruples went out the window and therefore could never be considered an “apprentice”. Clay has no one other then Liza to blame for the loss, but again, Clay has to claim his deceitful ways and therefore the loss. Man up Clay!

  • Jo

They’re both likeable men. I thought that Clay was a stronger player overall, due to his jack-of-all-trades skill set, but for some reason I was still rooting for Arsenio. A lot of people here are harping on the fact that Arsenio didn’t raise even twice as much as Clay, but (1) we know from past Celeb Apprentices that one can still win even if he raises less; (2) Arsenio won as PM and raised more overall than Clay did; (3) Arsenio said several times throughout the season that he does not have as many fundraising resources/wealthy friends that people would have you believe. I think the viewers who caught this expected that he wasn’t going to raise as much as Clay (who has a huuuuge fan base).

Anyway, I liked both men, but I also thought that they weren’t great leaders. They both felt they had to make a show of TAKING CHARGEEEE of the other celebs in the finale (ie they both had their bitch moments). Neither of them seemed to evince the same kind of leadership capacities and commanding presence as e.g. Marlee Matlin or John Rich. I don’t think any of contestants this season had “it.”

I think I rooted for Arsenio because I enjoyed the comedy show way more than the played-out, too-safe singing, which I had to fast forward through after two minutes in. It might also be because I find risky comedy entertaining. Let’s face it, Adam and Lisa are miles away from being clean-mouthed comedians, I don’t blame Arsenio for allowing them to stick with what they’re great at.

Plus, Arsenio should never have blown up at Aubrey that way, but Trump doesn’t weigh unreasonable emotional fits in his decisions — recall Joan Rivers blowing up at Annie Duke and calling her the lowest form of life because she’s a poker player (paraphrasing here). Agreed that this was a weak boardroom.

Oh, and Aubrey was pretty foul. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the only person she didn’t say slick things about in her interviews was Lisa. So even though I saw her as a bright, capable woman, I’m glad she didn’t make it into the final two.

Sorry for the essay people, insomnia. Sigh.

And for the person who googled “Clay should’ve won!” and found the top results showing similar-thinking people… Duh. You’re going to see that after the elimination of every show from Celeb Apprentice to American Idol to the Bachelor. A lot of people get the impulse to do that because of confirmation bias.

  • Keller Vicky

Donald your choices were poor all season—lisa so crude and arrogant while aubrey was so full of herself and immature—both should have been fired early on after continually losing with their ideas– forcing the remaining celebs to do all the work. Would have been better ideas! I really think clay and twisted sis got the short end.

  • Nikkis

I will not be watching CA again! Clay should of won! Everyone knows this was rigged! Wow trumps a sell out! I am disappointed in DT

  • Kimberly Canvass

Ah, did you miss all the bleeped out words AH used during the airing of the show? Regardless of who the target was, it showed a bit of his true self and reaction to challenging people in his life. He used some really offensive terms to single out her as a women that would not have been used should he have been dealing with a man. Worst decision ever!! Clay should’ve won hands down! AH did very little for the party, not much detail or thought, and with his connections he raised only half of what Clay did??? Come on!

  • Supermom Wow

Me, too! Donald, your fired from my TV! Never watching again! Utter BS! I’m dumbfounded!

  • Nolongerafan

You would want Arsenio, you throw insults that are specific to demeaning women just like he did. Why don’t you just speak about how should acted wrong, not attack the way she looks? Not all women have to look like Diana.

  • Laragi

    I’m never watching again!

  • Superstarmom

Uh, it’s a show based off ratings. You loose half your audience, you loose your show. It DOES matter what people think. People’s ability and desire to watch a show is crucial and I think that Donald made a huge mistake, based on the comments left on here about more than have are not happy. And because this was such an obviously premeditated, obviously BAD decision, people are mad! And Mad people don’t watch!!!

  • Kelly Superstar11

AH only won that money from winning, which was a farse! He only actually won $400,000 not $500,000. He didn’t bring that in himself! Clay would’ve brought in $550,000 should he have won. That’s not an argument.

  • Donald Trump Sucks

A weak leader are you crazy??? Evanka even said during the finale that Arsenio was a more “passive leader”. He couldn’t handle Aubrey to her face during the task, so he attacks her when she’s not even in the room. Clay stood up to Penn, Debby Gibsen and multiple others. Who is weaker???

  • Carola

Such a DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Clay should have won hands down….His show….his amount of donations….EVERYTHING about Clay pointed him to be the next Celebrity Apprentice!!! This was such a let down after watching all season…Takes away sooo much now :(

  • Tiarembert

Oh stop with all the crying…. it’s just a tv show! AH won…. move on!

  • Guest

    Clay!!!!

  • Guest

I didn’t like Lisa and Aubrey from on the women’s team. They were bullies and just plain not nice and not a team player especially Aubrey. I thought arsenio was vulgar in HOW he went after her. As much as I didn’t like her and believed someone should have stood up to her, arsenio did say some vulgar things which I thought was inappropriate. He even agreed and apologized.

  • camax

Remember…… this is a TV show called “Celebrity Apprentice” and the person who chooses the winner is the man who hires and fires. Having said that… TV is all about showmanship. The one who shows the most audience appeal and outrageous qualities is the one most likely to pull in the ratings. Obviously Arsenio has more of those qualities and star power than Clay. He is more bankable and more likely to pull in ratings making more money for the networks. Clay though he may have been a great player had the least of these qualities. Put him and Arsenio up against each other in a TV show back to back and guess who will pull in the ratings hence more advertising revenues to keep the show on the air. It is all about business my friends pure and simple.

LOL, I hope all the nah-sayers are right & Arsesio Hall does get a new show. I have loved Arsenio since Coming to America, so funny!!! A whole lot of people who don’t watch CA or read these posts will flock to Arsenio’s new show. Many of us feel that we missed out on years of Great entertainment coming from an AWESOME comedian. I respect Arsenio’s reasons for stepping back from the old show and for putting the well-being of his family first, as stated on Wendy Williams Show. It takes a big man to put his ego and his own ambitions aside for the sake of his family. Arsenio Hall is not finished (in the words of Charlie Sheen)…WINNING!!! Congrats again to the 2012 Celebrity Apprentice, ARSENIO HALL!!! GREAT CALL MR. TRUMP…BRILLIANT EVEN!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

Great point J.R., I like Clay, but his integrity is called into question when he accepted the money from Lisa. It was an underhanded, backstabbing thing for Lisa to do & Clay should have had no parts of it!

  • Missmarchbby

Trump made the right decision. Clay was never a good leader and every idea he came up with was played outt. He could never make a decision with his team members without coming off as defensive. His performance was predictable. It was fun but it wasnt fresh. With comedy you can never really be predictable, Arsenio’s team did a great job, thoough he didnt raise as much money as clay, look at the past challenges. Also Arsenio has always been a better performer, might not have produced the best ideas, but always came through performance wise.

This is all Fixed ! Nonsense the public eat’s up…Wrestling is real too….

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

Arsenio won both times he was project manager and raised more money in the entire show than anyone else. Get your facts straight Mr, Trump is not stupid – you do not give someone a raise because of one project your look at overrall standings. Clay won only one of his two projects as Project Manager

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

I guess that is your lonely opinion because he WON … actually on a business perspective he did a better job overall – he won his both stints as project manager – Clay won one out of two – Arsino raised more money overall. You all do not get the show nor how Mr. Trump operates

  • Lisaaatkins

Usually it’s the opposite. Controversy almost always increases ratings! Yay Arsenio!!!

  • Harper9

Business is all about money, and the star power of Clay Aiken pulled in twice as much money as AH. I think Donald may have a stake in the upcoming late night show. Too Bad, another nice guy finishes second.

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

And businessmen are not? Stop putting emotions in the show — it is about overall performance and overall he got the most money and won both is stints as Project Manager

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

    You tell them.

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

Get over it and be a true sport.

  • Lisaaatkins

    ARSENIO!!!!!!

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

Get your facts straight – Arsino won both his stints as Project Manager – Clay did not he only won one, Arsino though he did not bring in the most money on his last stint he brought in the most money overall. It does not matter if you like the man or not in the end business is about who brings in the most money overall. Also in his time as Project Manager he was praised for his personality in presenting the products he represented. This is about business not a poker face, not about favoritism, not about anything else. Yes he was a bit shrude he apologized and moved on and did not let it affect his game and the same people he has a shit fit with – gave Clay hell also. Congratulations Arsino for job well done. Mr. Trump I will continue to look at your show because I understand the way the business world works.

  • Meiercindy

way to go arsenio. Clay came off a bit too whiney and desperate What Lisa did was so backhanded and disloyal I think Trump was so put off by her and aubrey it also hurt clay

  • http://twitter.com/Seexxyme Denise Burns

Well said — People just don’t get the business side of it. They are stuck on popularity – and favorites and are not aware of how the game is played.

  • Cecelia

Both were winners. Clay should ne happy (I know he is) with the money he raised for his charity. I am happy that they are friends and were both chosen for the finale.

  • Gdenise

clay got ripped off…not happy with the Donald…has he developed dementia?

  • Cecelia

It was a give away when I went into Walgreen’s and saw the wrist bands for the magic Johnson foundation
Before the finale. Also, the TV commercial in the middle of the show. How dumb do you think we are?

    Great show. Both were winners

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yah Arsenio!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yay Arsenio!!!

  • 30307

Honestly, I feel that either of them are worthy of the title Celebrity Apprentice — would love to know what tipped the scales in Arsenio’s favor for The Donald. Again, BOTH were great opponents and advocates for their charities!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

    Huh? Rubbish!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

    Huh? More rubbush!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

Now it’s a conspiracy??? Even more rubbish!!!

  • NadiaR

I thought Clay was cool until he started going off on Diana. Cleraly Lisa was insecure about Diana youth and beauty but what was Clay’s reason for turning on her. Though Aresenio could should have used different words when he went off about Aubrey he fedinitely had a right to be angry. Aubrey behavior was beyond bitchy. There was absolutely no reason for her to be so damn hateful. I agree with the person upthread who said just seeing her lose again was priceless.

  • Lar01

In previous years, I came away with some understanding of why Trump made a decision. This time, there really was little or no focus on his thought process, no real asking the contestants to explain why they did x, complaining about y, etc. That’s always the interesting part, and the lack of it took away satisfaction that would have come with watching the series.

  • Lisaaatkins

That’s absurd!!! The last time I checked, there was still not a cure for aids!!! If you win, your charity gets the money!!! That’s the name of the game. Let’s hope nobody in your family gets AIDS!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

I believe Arsenio said he would make Donld Trump proud (not promote), lol!

  • Mike467471

Trump was the real winner……..do you know how many millions he made ???? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and only gives out $250,000. He should be the one fired also for choosing hall as the winner………
    TRUMP. YOU ARE FIRED…………….

  • Dlath337

Yes also take into fact Arsenio was project manager more times aqnd never lost when he was. Winner is not determined just by the last project

  • Brenda

I agree with all three of you about Aubrey. I had to google to find out what exactly she had done. She is a D list celebrity at best. No real singing or acting that is great, she is just average with a HUGEEEEEEE ego.

  • Tabitha

You are so right. Donald wants someone to kiss butt nightly. And now he will. Clay should have tilted the microphone toward Donal when he sang and I owe it all to you.

  • Jon

Clearly Trump awarded Arsenio the victory because Trump was trying to repair his image with the black community since his “I love the blacks” comment.

  • Thomaw2

Arsenio did a great job. Deserved the win . Good Job.

  • http://twitter.com/DeniseBooth Denise Booth

I would love to hear Trump explain his decision. Arsenio was lucky to even make the final…I enjoyed the last show right up till they announced the winner. I think Clay and Arsenio’s duet was very hearfelt.

  • http://www.facebook.com/terry.hayes.313 Terry Hayes

me too! I liked Clay up to that point. Haven’t liked his since. I’m really glad he didn’t win.

  • Thegoodyumaman12

It should have been Clay. His entertainment was much better…I mean, come on now…a singing duet with Dee Snider and Debbie Gibson. That was a classic. And on Arsenio’s side? Well, his was supposed to be a comedy show. Are you kidding? Not with Adam Carolla and Lisa Lampanelli. She had enough dirt coming out of her mouth to plant potatoes. But then, when you stop and look back, it’s probably just as well that Clay didn’t win. I mean, look at the Celebrity Apprentices over the years…just a bunch of has beens looking to make a comeback.

  • Kazzoo57

Trump will continue The Celebrity Apprentice because wewill continue to watch it. Who would you like to see on the next one? Whoopie!

  • Lauren

    Hi Karen,
I so agree with you. I was also on the fence about Clay, but when I saw him bullying Dayana (who has so much class and intelligence), AND ganging up on Dayana with that awful Lisa Lampinell, I could no longer tolerate Caly Aitken. He is such a weak gang boy bully that he should NOT be around disabled kids, who are VERY vulnerable What does his charity actually DO ANYWAY? He encourages kids to play nicely with disabled kids…that’s always good….but does he need a charity to do it? How does he actually do it? Can we see a public audited statement from his charity? ALSO, how much money does he take in a salary from his charity??????
    Lauren

  • PattyA

Just goes to show that TV people will stick withTV people. Last year it was all about how much $ was raised. This year it did not count? Clay was a much better PM than Arsenio. AH said he did not want a roast, but what did they have, a roast with foul language to boot that had to be bleeped out. Plus it’s half the $ Team Clay raised. Where were all AH’s great money friends? Clay’s show was so much better and was classy and showed talent. Anyone can stand up there and spit out dirty jokes that are not even funny. I found it difficult to even smile at what they were throwing out. Clay deserved to win. Trump is an +++++++ and I will NEVER watch that farce of a show again. Another FIXED show. Surprising.

  • GaryD

Arsenio put a few posters on the walls – Clay had a hug mural, Arsenio served drinks, Clay had a full carnival, Arsenio had short, questionalble skits, Clay had a full customized performance. Clay doubled the money Arsenio raised. They were both Project manager twice; Arsenio won 2, Clay won 1. If you could the last project, Clay won 2/3, Arsenio won 2/3. Arsenio was an emtional rollercoaster (the reason Lisa was fired, but not Arsenio?) Clay was calm and professional throughout.

The ONLY reason I can think of for Arsenio winning was Trump’s Huge Ego – Arsenio said he would wear the win like a badge and give credit to Trump for a life time of charity work.

  • Lauren

Lisa Lampinelli actually gave $10,000 to THE OPPOSITE TEAM. She was on Arsenio’s team, and she walked over and gave $10,000 to Clay Aitken’s team. She is the only Celebrity Apprentice participant who has ever been such a traitor!!!!!! Victoria Gotti said it so well. Victoria has guts and class, unlike Lisa Lampinelli.

  • http://www.facebook.com/aaapcrandall1965 Paul Crandall

Who raised the most money: Clay Aiken
Who had the better show: Clay Aiken
Who offended less people: Clay Aiken

Give the apprentice crown to Arsenio… he needs the work and the money.

Clay won the show… Trump just has a political motivation to get Arsenio back on TV… I almost guarantee it will be NBC or one of their thousand affiliates.

Trump is so worried about his popularity among black Americans. He has been critical of the president with good reason and has taken a hit in popularity because people cried racism.

I’ll tell you what is racist… Affirmative action in giving someone something they did not win or is not qualified for. That is racist. Trump committed a cardinal sin last night and will pay for it in viewership.

  • http://www.facebook.com/aaapcrandall1965 Paul Crandall

Perfectly said… Wish I would have worded it like this…

  • http://www.facebook.com/aaapcrandall1965 Paul Crandall

Shut up: The 250K was given to the winner fool… Clay raised twice as much during the competition.

  • Guest

who cares who won…Both charities got a lot of money and that’s great!

  • Shutupoprah

I so agree–the way he cried made me sick–so fakey

  • Shutupoprah

but HE didn’t do much–his team won–not him

  • Shutupoprah

and who cares about Majic Johnson? What is his foundation anyway? support all the bastards

  • Shutupoprah

I don’t consider arsenio a celebrity in any way shape or form–

  • Shutupoprah

all of his gang banger friends–filfthy money no less

  • Shutupoprah

i truly didn’t care which one of them won

  • Shutupoprah

I thought Dayana should have won–she was a class act

  • Shutupoprah

I bet Don Jr. will marry her

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yay Arsenio!!!

  • Shutupoprah

    what are you talking about

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yay Arsenio!!!

  • Shutupoprah

    Diana was

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yay Arsenio!!!

  • Stingmom8

I personally thought Clay should have won…i thought his final projec and PSA were better and he raised more money..guess it should have been a sign when Trump told Clay that money wasn’t the only factor. Am I disappointed with the choice…no. The true winners are the charities and the people those charities help. I was pretty surprised…but happy…that Aubrey was not in the final two.

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yay Arsenio!!!

  • Lisaaatkins

    Yay Arsenio!!!

  • Joanneharris14

Cosmo – I totally agree with you. Will never watch this show again. They should change the name to Celebrity Favoritism. Trump you are fired!

  • Jon

Of couse you are right. Trump is trying to repair his image with black Americans after his infamous “I love the blacks” comment.

  • Pamela C.

Unfair decision. Clay clearly won on various levels. I liked Arsenio as a TV and film personality but have lost some respect for him through these last few episodes and will not watch his TV comeback. I feel for Clay. I think Donald Trump had a make or “hinder” career decision about two personalities that had a lot riding on the decision. I feel Mr. Trump chose the bigger TV personality so that it can be said he HE had something to do with that celebs “comeback”. Clay didn’t need a comeback, he just wanted to be seen as being “the winner” finally, which he was also robbed of years ago. Clay proved himself, exceeded expectations of himself and was clearly robbed yet again for supposedly popular opinion. I have lost faith in the fairness of this show and may not invest the time again to watch.

  • Missalleycat2000

I’m very glad Aubrey got fired…she should have gotten fired sooner,,,but I’m sure she was there for the purpose of “good TV”…too bad. I think Clay really really showed have won. I wonder what Trump was thinking….didn’t he feel obligated to pick Arsenio?? Whatever the reason,, I won’t be watching the show ever again.

  • Hartmank

I had never heard of Aubrey before Celebrity, She is a real B and her ego is out the top, she should get a reality check and humble herself

  • Pfosterfl

Lisa Lampenelli is a disgrace to anyone who considers themselves a celebrity . She is the most disgusting woman I have ever seen . Her behavior should have never been tolerated by Mr . Trump much less be shown on national t.v. Aubrey is a Lisa in training , her only difference is her looks and she made her every appearance drenched in sleazy sex .Clay played the game with integrity and was a true gentleman , may he go on to greater things.

  • Hartmank

Aubrey always said me, me, me, I, I, I, but most of the time her team lost, so her ideas weren’t so great huh?

  • Anonymous

You have to wonder. The Magic Johnson Foundation is well established, but I’ve never heard of Clay Aiken’s charity. Then again there are a lot of charities out there. I’m just glad he didn’t win!

  • Anonymous

Sorry, perhaps you missed it. I heard Arsenio talking all season about how people he thought were “friends” weren’t coming through when he needed them, and he said very clearly that it’s time like these that you learn who your real “friends” are.

  • Anonymous

Now that’s funny! When exactly did Jay Leno become a gang banger? Is he aware? LOL!

  • Anonymous

    And so….?

  • Anonymous

My! For someone who doesn’t care who won, and doesn’t care about a foundation you obviously know nothing about, you sure are posting a lot! LOL!

  • Anonymous

Clay had more finacial support on the final task, not throughout the competition, and Trump made it clear that more then just the final task was being considered in his decision making. And while Clay is known, let’s be honest here. Celebrity Apprentice is about Grade B through Z celebrities, most of which are celebrities in name only. Saying that someone is bigger than Arsenio Hall, really isn’t saying much! LOL!

  • Anonymous

But as he stated throughout the season, he found out just how few “friends” he had we he needed them to come through.

  • Anonymous

And that is the mark of a great PM. The ability to lead without having to micromanage!

  • Anonymous

It wasn’t “star power” but the ability to call in favors from friends. Please notice that he didn’t manage to raise that much throughout the season, but only did so in the end. So, either he was holding back, or his friends called in favors for him. Either way, that doesn’t make him a bigger star, it just means he has better friends then Arsenio does!

  • Anonymous

And that makes him a better person then either Aubrey or Lisa!

  • Ddrumeva

most of those women were idiots, proof 2 men won , the worse one, besides Aubrey was that bulgarian model who became miss universe…..she was a total idiot and a brown noser to Trump really that woman is wakoo

  • Wonniewilliams

Woo! Woo! Woo! Trump got it right! Congratulations Arsenio. You earned the win!

  • REDPIEFACE

I REALLY STATED ROOTING FOR ARSENIO WHEN LISA GAVE MONEY TO CLAY’S CHARITY AND SHE WAS ON THE OTHER TEAM. I THINK THAT REALLY SWAYED DONALD TO CHOOSE ARSENIO. HE CAN’T STAND THAT BACK STABBING JUNK. IF CLAY WOULD HAVE TURNED DOWN HER MONEY BECAUSE IT WAS GIVEN AT THE WRONG TIME HE COULD HAVE WON!!! SHOWS THE CHARACTER OF BOTH CLAY AND LISA!!! AND I REALLY LIKED THAT DAYANA NEVER PUT HER HEAD DOWN TO CLAY OR LISA!!!!

  • Wonniewilliams

It was a TEAM effort, with him as the PM – Get it?!?!?!?

  • Lovee292003

I agree….although I was really glad aresenio won!

  • Lovee292010

Yes..he should have he played the game and played it well!

  • Layla37us

Agreed! Arsenio winning makes no sense at all!!!!!!

  • Lovee292010

They all were over emotional and if anyone was vulgar it was Lisa…Clearly he deserved to win..it’s not his fault that clay was runner-up again. I love how talented clay is..but his variety show sucked!

  • Lovee292010

I did to..it was so funny and well-deserved…LOL!

  • Dallen132

Disapppointed in Trump. He was being politically correct. I should not be about skin color. He sold out!

  • Lovee292010

Vulgar is Aubrey on sitting on his neck to take a pic..uhhhh..yuck! he called it right and played the game and is 2012 winner….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes!

  • Lovee292010

Not…clay could not even snap back from the interview with last year winner…i do adore his music..but arsenio won the crowd ratings and the show!

  • Lovee292010

Trump totally madfe the right decision and maybe next show for clay….

  • Tamarama

Clay was robbed, Trump had his mind made up before the task was even finished. So what, Arsenio won one more task than Clay. Clay was detrimental in Arsenios winning that one in the first place, when Trump asked fellow contestants who should win, twice as many chose Clay.
Sounds like a case of you rub my back Mr. Trump and I will forever rub yours (free air time on my new show). Maybe a picture of Trump and Magic Johnson together to display on your gold wall.

  • Lovee292010

He does have a life..he just won! lol I and all his fans will be watching and forever in his corner :)

  • Lovee292010

    or gay friends..he still won!

  • NadiaR

You guys are making it about race. I highly doubt Trump did. I’m pretty sure he wants his Celebrity Apprentice to be marketable. Wouldn’t make any sense if he didn’t

  • Lovee292010

    I do :)

  • Lovee292010

well trump is rich were on here clay lost and arsenio won…so there it is..stop hating..hehehehe!

  • Ducanam

Will never watch this show again. Boring. Too much time in the board room with celebs putting each other down. A horrible concept. This should have been a Clay win but I also knew Arsenio would win. Now Trump will have a cheerleader on everynight on Arsenio’s new show. Will no longer watch this ego manical jerk and his sons, the great white hunters who blow away animals our planet cannot afford to lose. Shame on all of them and shame on all of us for watching them. But no more!!

  • Rxkris1

Trump is in self promotion. He constantly referred to Miss Universe (his show I believe) and promoted Arsenio on his future show (NBC) It was all business in who he chose. I was on the fenceline about who should win, but after seeing the finale, Clay should have won hands down. Plus if Trump ever runs for office, he might get a better percentage of the minority vote. Did anyone ever think of these aspects of his decision?

  • Lovee292010

Clearly you are hating…duhhhhhhhhhh…clay was weak but a great singer! arsenio stole the show and again..did i mention that he won!…

  • Lovee292010

One-Thousands of viewers…hmmmmmmmmmmm…dont think it will matter…Cant want till the next season!

  • Lovee292010

Yes!!!!!So happy Arsenio won and I liked Clay also..Lisa and Aubrey sucked!..Cant wait to watch the next season!..Well-deserved Arsenio and I will be tuning in for your show :)

  • Lovee292010

Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! and Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…………………….and the winner is Arsenio Hall…lol!

  • Lovee292010

Now Clay was timid and did not hold a candle to Arsenio…his show sucked…..

  • Lovee292010

    It’s not? hehehehe!

  • Lovee292010

    I concur :)

  • Lovee292010

Uhhhhhhhh..so…that’s why he is were he is at and we are on here…obviously..Trump is doing something right…Thousands will tune in again for the next season and all of you will to.. Congrats again Arsenio..well deserved :)

  • Lovee292010

No worse then the other players..Clay did not deny the money from Lisa..Hello and he was a bitch to Diana…it’s the nature of the game..Good choice Trump…

  • Lovee292010

LOL…so did Arsenio and did I mention..he WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lovee292010

    black white..blah..blah …blah….

  • Lovee292010

NO he was not..Arsenio was and I’m glad he won! Great choice Trump cant wait until next season :)

  • Lovee292010

    or RACIST white people…ijs…lol!

  • Lovee292010

Clay was timid, lost tasks, sided with Lisa and overall his variety show sucked….again ijs…lol!

  • Lovee292010

    heck why not..got a black president…how dull you are….

  • Lovee292010

So if Clay won, was it because he was white..lol…or gay…lol.

  • Lovee292010

LOL..Simmer down there buddy….The best player won..get over it..you will be watching next season along with a thousand other haters!

  • rwbllllllakkke

It was based on someone paying money to the show for advertisement galore. That would be one Majic Johnson. This was decided a long time ago.

  • Texas Sally Sue

This was my last season. Every other challenge was based on ‘most $$ raised’ and then Trump changes the rules? Arsenio’s production was tasteless…evidently just like Trump. I was not a fan of either but I can see a real issue with the future of this format. I guess Trump sees Magic Johnson as more important than kids…Magic he can cash in in the future.

  • Solosngr

Clay was without a doubt the winner of this years Apprentice. I’m not sure what show people were watching but it was obvious who the winner was before the last show started but Trump being Trump had to create drama. I really liked AH but he was clearly second in this race.
    Money raised–(far less than CA)
    Leadership–(none to speak of)
Participation during other tasks (played it safe all season)
    Drama–(tears,tears,tears) winner AH
    Overall rudeness–(AH by far)

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1071471540 Melissa Deitz

It was a toss up for these two – AH and CA – but it does go to show you that Aubrey also played a huge part, cause everything she touches turns to dust!

  • Yanks4life14

the main reason clay lost is becaue he tried to play the pity card…telling mr trump that his mother was here and didnt wanna watch him lose twice>….r u joking?? what a stupid comment..he should have used his time to pitch himself and more of why he deserved it ratha then trying to make evryone feel bad and give him a pity victory

  • Mimiblair

I’m really glad Arsenio Hall won, not because I love him, but because I straight up detest Clay Aikens. Okay Clay, you’ve come in second, twice to a black man, let’s not forget Rueben Stoddard. This can continue to happen or you can simply disappear.

  • gypsarella

In the end it’s all about what’s best for The Donald. It’s just business. Grouping all these different temperments and personalities together was bound to make an interesting show. There are pros and cons for each move both Clay and Arsenio made throughout the whole competition, making it easy to pick and choose to justify whomever Trump thinks would be best for his own reputation. As with most studies, you can tweak them either way to prove your point.

Personally, I thought Clay’s team put on the best party, even though the idea of painting the walls came from someone else. The circus theme was brilliant and kept all the guests engaged. But Aubrey came up with that.
The demographics of Clay’s fans were more driven and able to give larger donations.

I liked Arsenio’s show the best. Adult comedy is great and always keeps me guessing!
The Magic Johnson Foundation benefits “urban diversity” and minorities. If there was a Caucasian Foundation, I’m sure they would be sued. Why can’t there be a foundation that benefits PEOPLE in NEED with AIDS overlooking their color, religion and nationality?

I probably will never tune in to see Clay perform, as he is just not the sort of performer I like, nor does his music interest me. But I’ve always loved Arsenio, and cannot wait until he is back on the TV regularly!

  • Dan

Trump is a TOOL!!!!! you can tell who he’s picking after week 4 . My friends that watch the show agreed that if Clay did’nt win after raising more money then Arsenio that this would be THE last time we would watch the show. His ratings i think will go down after this year , Nothing against Arsenio he did a great job as well,

  • Chine

AH is an asshole who couln’t be more phony. It’s obvious that Trump chooses the biggest kiss ass! Just to prove he can do what he wants not the actual criteria of the show!

  • gypsarella

I agreed with Arsenio when he lost his cool with Aubrey. I would have had trouble controlling myself around her. I have never seen such a conceited, stuck up, controlling, full of herself person in my life. And she was so OPEN about it! No shame at all! Lisa might have been offensive to hear, but she did work hard and have ideas. She did not wait around for someone to tell her what to do. That said, I HATE the fact that Aubrey was the smartest, fastest and most creative person there. But nobody could stand her. I learned in business that being great in your job is only part of your value. Getting along and working together is a large part of it, too, and Aubrey would cause disruption and explosions no matter where she went.
Don’t forget: they edit so many things out to manipulate the viewers. I wonder how many curse words were used by others on either team, both during the tasks and upstairs?

  • No more trump

AH new show will be backed by trump

We should be fired for watching a 13 week Arsenio Hall commercial.

The fix was in AH should have come in at best 4th

  • Michael_arenibar

When your dropping that kind of cash to a charity you want to have a nice time. Arsenio’s PSA catered to that. I feel sorry for Clays donors who just got to play carnival games, LOL. Arsenio and Clay both said some trashy things but Ivana Trump even said it was unerstood given the circumstances. I still do not know what Clays Charity was about it was very unclear – how do they try to include kids with disabilities in programs?

Most trashless were Aubrey and Lisa. Love Dayana now.

Glad Arsenio won otherwise it would have been revenge of the nerd with Clay!

  • Leesa Dudgeon

I guess nice guys do finish last.

  • Judjamw

Cut the crap! The best person won.

  • Rogues35

Arsenio is definitely a no talent kiss ass who contributed little or nothing to any of the projects he worked on BUT he is potentially much more useful in enhancing the Trump brand. First, his win brings in the African American community and second, his new late night show will be another Trump-fest platform. Clay had no chance. Neither had Aubrey, who was obviously the best player on the show, but could bring nothing Trumpdom.

  • Stevem

    LOL….he was clearly joking dummy

  • K2boyz79

ah didn’t deserve to be in the top 2. I didn’t like aubrey but no man has the right to disrespect a women the way he did her. ca never disrespected anyone and his final challenge was soooo much better then ah. it was for kids and all ah’s was for drinking and fulger jokes. Lisa was critized for her emotions and ah won because of his.

  • Anonymous

Thrilled that Arsenio won. Absolutely a winner!

    * Liked Clay until he teamed up with Lisa against Dayana. Funny that he spoke out
against Lou being “set-up to fail,” but Clay who champions “inclusion” did not step
up, nor help Dayana. Guess he was not afraid of Penn, as he was of Lisa. No
decent business person should be afraid to speak up to an abuser, let alone embrace
    them.

    * IF Clay had been true apprentice material, when Dayana was the recent team leader,
he would have taken Dayana aside and said “I understand where you’re coming from,
and the abuse you’ve endured, but just trust me that I will manage Lisa and we’ll
all work together for a team win.”

    * Anyone who would hitch-their-wagon to Lisa is not a winner, nor apprentice material.
Vulgarity and abusive, bullying behavior has no place in the business environment.
    Embracing Lisa was Clay’s downfall.

    * Lisa even had to donate money in a vulgar way. If she was so into Clay, obviously
over Arsenio, she should have quietly made a donation, without all the “look at me,
I’m bucking the norm.” If she so desperately needed the attention, she should have
been decent enough to her team to donate equal to both teams.

    * In response to an earlier comment, Dayana showed, once again, the utmost class
in stating she had “nothing nice to say about Lisa.” Victims shouldn’t be expected
to say nice things about their abusers.

    * Arsenio’s sincerely & genuinely apologized to Aubrey for calling her a name (which
was a lot less damaging to anyone’s ego, than the continuous mean & hateful things
she and Lisa said to almost all others during the course of the show.) Funny how
abusive people can dish it out, but they sure can’t take it.

    * To the cry that “Clay raised more money..” Thank goodness some people realize,
it’s not all-about-money, at the expense of decency.

    * Top managers/executives don’t outwork everyone. They know how to manage people
to get the best work from them.

    * Successful people and business DO massage and woo their clients. Arsenio’s comments
were sincere and from the heart. Mr. Trump would not be where he is if he wasn’t very
    astute at recognizing insincere kissing-up.

    * Clay’s appeal of why he should be the winner was not as strong, nor of a standout executive
    quality.

    * Last but not least, Arsenio win was a much deserved outcome to both Lisa
and Aubrey for their horrendous behaviors and abhorrent personalities. Hate,
vulgarity and abuse don’t belong anywhere, let alone in a respectable business
atmosphere. Mr. Trump finally somewhat redeemed himself for even allowing it
to go on for so long. Good did triumph over evil in the end.

THANK YOU MR. TRUMP & CONGRATS ARSENIO!!!

  • Ben

Am I the only one feeling sorry for Arsenio?

He does have to work for Donald Trump now, after all.

  • Kcimsan

Whoa, what color are your glasses? Nice mouth.

  • Kcimsan

Obviously you didn’t watch the complete series.

  • Kcimsan

    Incredulous!
Have you read any of the rationale for how he fires and hires?
    Obviously not!

  • Kcimsan

HARTNETT so should have taken a course in English. You have more mistakes in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and context than anything. For example, try YOU’RE – a third grade contradiction for YOU ARE.

  • Kcimsan

Wow indeed Vegasjune! YOUR so wrong as you meant YOU’RE – a third grade contraction for YOU ARE. Funny stuff.

  • Kay 55

I thought Clay’s HISSY FIT with Penn was out of line so I am not surprised that he didn’t win.

  • Kcimsan

If you really couldn’t figure out what his foundation is by watching or listening, you should have used a search engine before you made a fool of yourself. Based on your name and your spewed vulgarity, I sense a pattern. OBTW, you should have at least spelled Magic’s name correctly.

  • Guest

Donald Trump has been operating this show for a number of years.Regardless to how viewers feel about the choice he made for the new Celebrity Apprentice,at the end of the day the final decision was to be made by him.He knew what he wanted from the two finalist, they present there project;then he ruled.I watched the show, all the celebrities brought their skills and made there efforts towards the show even though some viewers had his or her own favorite celebrity,I personally did not have one, because show buisness is all about making money and how you present yourself in the public eye.Lisa was pretty intemidating, she spoke soo much “B” words but what else can you expect ?she is Italian, guys you are still lucky it was not the “F” words.I will not work for her if she speeks those words,I believe she is a good person inside, she just need to allow herself to change her way of speeking,be more professional then all will be well. When Mr Trump fired Aubrey O’Day,it was the best thing ever because she is a PHONY from her head to her feet. This girl is an Aquarius born,to me 99% of women not the men born under this sign are very transparent, they are lovers of themselves, backstabing, envious, vain, bitter, empty and has many different personnalities meaning {6 or more faces under one hat}In buisness never trust these women.Clay is a young guy,he has a career in music,he is trying hard to show America that he has great potentials, but for some reason he allways come in last.he worked very hard to achieve his place on both American idol and the apprentice,none-the-less he was placed in the doghouse.Next time Clay i suggest you donot compete with black men.then you will get out of the doghouse and be on top.because both Rubein and Arsenio ate you for brakefast.Arsenio didnot have to try too hard because in his guts feeling; he knew he was the next Celebrity Apprentice.

  • Mick

You almost got it, but Arsenio won all his tasks and pulled in more money overall. Actually it’s not too bad as don’t nice guys normally finish last?

  • Mick

What? Arsenio won both his tasks as project manager, had the best skit, AND raised the most money overall! A hard sell?
I think you watched a different series than the the rest of us.

  • gypsarella

Really? “99% of the women not the men born under this sign are very transparent, they are lovers of themselves………and has many different personalities meaning (6 or more faces under one hat)”

LMAO! That statement alone makes the rest of what you say irrelevant.

  • Bonnie

Of course Arsenio won; the show is on NBC.

Clay’s team raised more funds, and his show was the crowd-pleaser.

See Arsenio’s performance on The View recently, and when he jumped up and down like a child last night following his win.

    Good luck, Trump brand.

  • Bd123u8

The simple truth – AH’s charity is Magic Johnson Foundation – which Donald will be getting a lot of favors/fame back eventually. Clay’s is just a small one he created with no national awareness…poor guy.

  • Dockbee2

    Dayana should have won.

  • Mick

WRONG! Arsenio pulled in the most overall and had a blank check from Leno not to mention he won both his tasks as project manager. Hello?

  • Mick

WOW – you are a racist and a hater. Of course he’s a celebrity!

  • Bluenose503

Really that is strange as they all said giving money to Clay was showing her character and question they said no no not in a bad way in a very good way. I believe there was a lot of prejudice on Trumps part he doesn’t like gays so he wasn’t gonna win even if he brought in a million it was pretty obvious and in the past it has always been about the amount of money raised and Clay had a way better show than Arsenio like 110% better. And Clay bringing down the wall so they would be both together was awesome. Arsenio go back to wherever you came from I will not be watching any of his shows for sure.

  • Bluenose503

    CLAY!!!!!!!!! By a mile

  • Bluenose503

To say the least I was stunned when he announced who won I then realized Clay never had a chance Trump is a egotistical asshole…. jerk…..tool ….and many other names I used to have respect for him on all the other shows he was fair and the people were deserving but this time he was a prejudice idiot and I figure he will be taking a lot of flack on his decision and I for one won’t be watching it again, what a shame cause it WAS a decent show.

  • Celebapfan

And…how do we know that all of Clay’s financial supporters didn’t give more that one dollar but one who could have been himself to give the rest???..Just saying and NOT hating…

  • Celebapfan

    sorry…should have proofread…more than one dollar each…

  • http://www.facebook.com/RTCastleberry R.T. Castleberry

Perfect. He carried Eddie Murphy’s coat for years. Now he can carry Donald Trump’s.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1467494703 Arthur Quek

I like both of them. Throughout the season, Clay was more of a gentleman besides raising way more money than AH. The reason he lost is because DT does not want to give it to a gay person. He opposes gay marriage.

  • Anonymous

I love “Celebrity Apprentice” ; and I always look forward to the finale. But this year, I’m still just shaking my head. I’ve watched all of the CA’s and was really disappointed with the results of this show; throughout the season, Clay was a smarter and more dominant contender. Even the variety show he put on was better, not to mention the PSA. I just don’t get this outcome. I don’t even agree that it was close. Last years event with Marlee and John was close; this seemed like a no-brainer. Kinda takes away from the fun of the show-thinking it is all on the “up & up” and definitely tarnishes my opinion of the spirit of the show. As for LL, I didn’t know who she was before, and I definitely don’t care to get to know any more about her. What a loud mouth, classless broad. There’s nothing worse than a bullying broad.

  • Anonymous

I recall Trump making that clear only after the event was over and prior to announcing the winner. Raising money has always been a big consideration. And the PSA, …really? Clay had a very polished message, very clever with the wheelchair in the foreground of children playing. Even the “variety” show was more appealing. I found the show Team Arsenio did lackluster, and off color with the joke’s made by Lisa and Adam. There’s a time and place for everything and with a mixed audience I felt it was inappropriate. Team Clay performed an all-inclusive show, while Arsenio’s lacked, well, entertainment. And TA did not make use of Paul and Teresa in the end, whereas TC did. I am left with an overall feeling that Trump wanted to “give” the show to Arsenio- which he has every right to do; it’s his show. On the receiving end, I feel duped by watching an entire season expecting that a worthy contestant would win. I like Arsenio Hall, but I don’t agree that he was the rightful winner. A better competition would have been Aubrey and Clay. No matter what you feel about Aubrey, she was a worthy opponent.

  • Anthony Lea

my buddy’s mother go t paid $21508 the previous week. she is making money on the internet and bought a $386500 house. All she did was get fortunate and put into work the instructions explained on this web site===>> ⇛⇛⇛⇛► seekingguru.blogspot.com

  • Jowblow

Arsenio flew under the radar while his team did all the creative thinking. Shouldn’t have won sorry.

  • Char

What a disappointment! I too feel duped! I thought Clay’s show was much more entertaining and family appropriate. Arsenio did well in the season but his show was inappropriate and unprofessional. I felt that Clay was a perfect gentleman and played the game well. Arsenio losing it with Aubrey was distastful and petty. Yes, Mr. Trump BOO HOO HOO ‘You’re FIRED!’

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-May/100001371854535 Julie May

I am glad he told her off too. Donald Trump would let a dog wear his banner quicker than Aubrey.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-May/100001371854535 Julie May

I am glad he told her off too. The Donald Trump would never allow Aubrey to wear his name.

  • Anonymous

A mixed audience? There were not children present if that’s what you’re saying. If you are saying a male/female mixed audience, then I guess it was a good thing that Adam is a male and Lisa is a female. And while Clay’s PSA was very polished, so was Arsenio’s, but that is of course a matter of opinion.

The bottom line is that Trump was clear that the fundraising was only going to be a part of his decision making. As other’s have pointed out, Arsenio Hall had a better record as a PM, and raised more money during the season. While I think it’s great that Clay Aiken was able to raise a lot of money at the very end, perhaps it’s because he raised far less throughout the season. That was his decision.

I for one was jumping for joy when the phoney ego maniac Aubrey O’Day was fired, and I know I was not alone. The only thing she is “worthy” of is her friendship with Lisa Lampinelli. She was a jealous bully the entire season, and had no idea what it meant to be a team player, spending every available moment saying “I, I, I”! My daughter used to think she was a pretty terrific young lady when she rose to prominance as part of Danity Kane. Heck we even got her autograph. But now, she looks like an over the hill drag queen, just looking for 10 more minutes in the spot light. Thankfully Trump knew that, kept her around for entertainment value, then kicked her to the curb when her usefulness had expired. Something I’m sure she’s used to by now!

I totally agree with you. AH’s show was rude and offensive. Clay should have been the winner based on his overall professionalism throughout the show. Arsenio Hall is a cry baby. I am totally disappointed with the outcome of the show. As for the comment below, 99% off all contestants in celebrity apprentice history are washed up so clay did the best he could.

  • Annie-Maria

Clay was a gentleman throughout the entire show. Arsenio’s language was quite crude at times. Lisa’s vulgar language was not necessary during the presentation nor was it throughout the entire show. Clay raised twice as much money and his PSA was very good. Donald did not make the right choice.

  • Bev

IMO, Clay attracted 2nd place to himself. He was focused so much on NOT being 2nd that he was. Laws of attraction.

  • J Smith

You mean “contraction.” Not “contradiction.” Before you blast HARTNETT, maybe take an English course yourself. Yuck.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1738605059 Clarise ImaPinklady Jones

Glad for Arsenio!! He won fair and square!

  • D.

Leno’s blank check DID NOT COUNT; it was not included, as it came to the task TOO LATE… Clay’s contributors came thru for him.

  • Will

The world would of gotten all over Donald Trump If he didn’t pick ARSENIO, I Loved Clay, Clay will be alright, because of this show Clay is going up up up!! and so is ARSENIO! God Bless them both

  • Tbellin

Yes, Clay did raise more money, but Arsenio deserves another change in TV. I loved watching in show back in the 90′s. He was a great host. Hope to see him again soon. Love u Arsenio!

  • shells10

Anyone want to take a bet on which network Arsenio’s new show will be on? My money is on NBC…

  • John Crawford

This was an affirmative action choice. Trump wanted to show he was not a racist. He questioned whether BO was born in the US and the liberals said he was a racist. He had to show as quickly as possible that he was not. Why was there not even a discussion of who had the better party, ad, and show? Because he knew the answers to those questions would make it hard for him to choose Arsinio. It has never happened that they did not comment on the performance of the last challenge. When it came down to Penn or Arsinio, it should have been Pen. He clearly had more influence on the winning teams. When it came down to Aubrey and Arsinio, it should have been Aubrey. I don’t like her, but she clearly had more to contribute to the teams that won. Also, I understand that trump has some interest in the channel that is going to give Arsinio a new talk show. That may have played a roll. Also I would like to say that the show of Arsenio was terrible, not funny and used totally inappropriate language. It should have eliminated him from any consideration. What is clear is that Clay got robbed!!!

  • http://www.aspmrents.com/ property management

Last week, viewers saw both Hall and Aiken struggling to not only work efficiently with their former rivals, but also to raise the most money.

  • Bwtwatww3

Donald Trump just has a thing for old wahed – up comics. He was wrong with Joan Rivers and he was wrong this time.

  • quest

Kcimsan- It’s clear you’re the racist: You’re such an AH fan! I wish he were white so I could see your opinion change!

  • guest

This proves my point! You can’t come up with anything original! THEIF!!!

  • guest

I would’t hire either of them! They both stink! This seasons show was the worst ever.I would have fired most of them the first day. Trump really had to dig deep in the gutter to find half the people he had on this seasons show. Not much class!

  • Anonymous

Clay was fine until he decided to become bff’s with Lisa. The scene where he went all mean girl on Dayana was uncalled for but he did it in order to win brownie points with Lisa. I think that said more about Clay’s character than anything. Arsenio’s rant on Aubrey was justified (although the language was not) because if was personal between the two of them. Arsenio didn’t do it to win favor with anyone unlike Clay. Wasn’t Clay’s organization about “playing with everyone” or something to that affect? How was he NOT able to play well with Dayana especially after seeing how she had been bullied all season by Lisa his new bff?

  • Anonymous

You’re talking about Clay’s new bff … lol!

  • Cashmere

I haven’t watched the final episode, had to tape it. But now I won’t bother wasting my time. Clay was a stronger player throughout, whereas Arsenio, although he never really did anything out and out wrong….he never really contributed anything worthy of notice either. I suspect that if Arsenio didn’t raise a dime, and everyone walked out on his presentation, he would have still won. That he even made it as far as he did, indicated to me, that it was in the bag for him from the beginning. I don’t care for that kind of ‘competition’. I quit watching the show after the same nonsense with Joan Rivers, and was hoping that kind of blatant favouritism was a thing of the past. Apparently not.

  • Me

Arsenio won because he has a talk show coming up on the network. Both were great though. I actually lived lisa on the show she is who she is. I really didn’t mind Aubrey either she also is who she is. Both women were strong players. Donald just sold out as usual

  • Me

Did anyone else realize that there were not a lot of fund raising events compared to last year. John Rich kept saying you didn’t raise as much money as I did. Well that’s. Ecause there were only maybe 2 events compared to last years which almost all tasks were fund raisers. John rich needs to get off his high horse

  • Anonymous

I totally agree. It’s amazing how Clay’s fans managed to turn a blind eye to his antics with Dayana. Clay’s charity is about “inclusion” yet he CHOSE to become bff’s with the biggest bully in Celebrity Apprentice history … Lisa L. Lisa browbeat Dayana all season until she saw her complaints were falling on deaf ears (Trump’s) so she decided to use reverse psychology. When Clay CHOSE to go all mean girl on Dayana by getting in her face and saying “I don’t have to listen to you I’m a grown a$$ man” and later as PM sat back and did NOTHING while Lisa yelled, cursed, and demeaned Dayana for something she said to Eric I knew then that if Clay made it to final two – he’d lose. His actions contradicted his message. He decided if you can’t beat ‘em (Lisa/Aubrey) join ‘em so he bullied Dayana to win favor with Lisa. What Clay failed to see is Lisa DOESN’T like him. I know she’s a comic and her material is raw, but IMHO she intentionally embarrassed Clay with her standup routine. She could have poked fun of his hair, weight, losing on Idol, being a new parent, ANYTHING, but she chose not only to do it about his lifestyle, but in the most vulgar terms. I felt bad for Clay at that moment having to listen to that trash! Her donation to Clay’s charity wasn’t because she likes Clay, it was her (and Aubrey’s) way of sending a HUGE f*** you to Arsenio. Who does that? If I recall correctly didn’t Lisa attack Lou and call him disloyal (and Trump agreed) because he liked the packaging of the opposing teams product over their own? Yes, Clay raised the most money in that task and so did Annie Duke in her season, but she lost to Joan Rivers. Clay lost CA because he didn’t stay Clay to the end. He got caught up in playing the game and got played by Lisa L. It’s a valuable lesson to learn and hopefully he learned it.

  • Anonymous

The entire season Aubrey took credit for everything. I even noticed she said Clay wouldn’t have had a theme without her so is his lost Aubrey’s fault? LOL!

  • Anonymous

I was hoping to see Aubrey’s head EXPLODE, but the camera didn’t show her once Arsenio’s win was announced. That poor girl needs intense therapy. Can’t wait to see if Arsenio get another late night show I use to love watching him. If he gets one I hope it’s on OWN (Oprah’s Newtork). He also needs to team back up with Eddie and do another movie. Arsenio STILL has it!

  • Anonymous

See ya next season … lol!

  • Anonymous

Wow … this is so typical. Anything and everything a black person gets is due to affirmative action. What about when Joan Rivers? Did SHE win because of affirmative action? Everyone knows the BIGGEST benefactor of affirmative action is white women. WW get to double dip they use the majority (white) when it’s convenient and women (affirmative action) when it’s beneficial. Somebody needs to tell Joan she was an affirmative action winner.

  • Anonymous

It truly was a disappointment when Clay jumped on Lisa’s wagon. The admiration I had for him went right out the window. Equally amazing, as you point out, is the blind eye that Clay’s fans have to his bad behavior. Class and respectable behavior should always triumph over bullying and smarts/creativity absent decency. Thanks for your reply. Cheers!!

  • Anonymous

Maybe Clay too was jealous of Dayana’s youth and beauty.

Cut out the PC will you? SOme really offensive terms……….wah wah wah. OMG I get to the point where people like you make me want to PUKE!!!!!!! AUBREY IS A HO, SKANK, AND WHATEVER ELSE SHE WAS CALLED. This is not an offensive term it is a fact!!!!!!!

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/JWTYMWYRFM5AKTISC5HAGHUP64 Juanitoelmalito

Arsenio* Farce* innocence* Jesus Christ, don’t you realize how much it invalidates your oppinion when you show how completely ignorant you are?

  • Anonymous

Thank You! There are a lot of people that are creative and may be brilliant at what they do, but can’t hold a job because they aren’t liked. Aubrey is a D list entertainer that can’t get ahead because she doesn’t LISTEN. In any room she always feels she’s the smartest. She’s too immature to know when to STHU. This girl is responsible for the dismantle of Danity Kane. Puffy got so sick of her antics he pulled a Trump and said “You’re fired”! Ivanka is beautiful, smart, and classy (everything Aubrey THINKS she is) and even she called Aubry out on her crap. All I see in Aubrey’s future is more Playboy and eventually porn. She is her own worst enemy!

  • Gman

Trump is an idiot and a buffoon – he has no credibility whatsoever. First he picks that poisonous witch Joan Rivers and now Arsenio over Clay??? Clay has lost more brain cells than Arsenio ever had to begin with – what an idiot…

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/JWTYMWYRFM5AKTISC5HAGHUP64 Juanitoelmalito

Clay’s show was only the “crowd pleaser” to fat, mouth breathing, middle aged women who want to listen to crappy songs done by karaoke hacks! Except for Dee Snyder of course. He rocked!

  • Zwicksan

Your facts are incorrect as Arsenio raised more money overall and won project manager tasks and his PSA was as good if not better.

  • Zwicksan

Try English next time. It’s a shame you won’t be watching. NOT!

  • Mick

Gee, does someone sounds homophobic! How could anyone forget Ruben, he was mentioned several times by both Hall and Aiken. OBTW – it’s spelled Ruben Studdard,

  • Kcimsan

Money raised – (Hall raised more overall)
Leadership – (Hall won both his tasks, Aiken lost one)
Participation – (What did you watch?)
Drama – (Aiken had his share!)
    Rudeness – (Perception)

  • Judjamw

Let’s not make everything race. Arsenio did a great job and deserved to win. When people donate money at a charity event you want to have a great time. Arsenio’s PSA or his program catered to that. Clay raised the most money, yes. And, if that was the only criteria, Clay wins hands down. But, if overall performance was the criteria Arsenio was exceptional. I like Clay, I would have been happy if he won. It was close and Arsenio pulled it out.

  • Kcimsan

If it’s such a horrible concept, why has the Apprentice been on for 12 seasons? His sons? How shallow!

  • Anonymous

Unfortunately, Clay was not a gentleman throughout the entire show. His behavior towards Dayana was shocking, particularly given his cause. Nor did he ever give a hint of an apology, unlike Arsenio who sincerely apologized for his transgression against Aubrey.

Clay’s reasons to Mr. Trump on why he should be the winner was not standout, nor of executive/apprentice quality. He wiped out any final-challenge gains he may have made. Arsenio was fortunate that Lisa did not loose it for him with her most inappropriate & foul “jokes,” which may very well have been her intention, given her lack-of-good-character. No “winner” would
    embrace this woman.

Note: Abusers M.O.: When fully exposed, they laugh it off as a joke, or some other insane excuse as to why what they did wasn’t really bad. I think Lisa let us all know that it’s OK to abuse anyone if you are a menopausal Italian woman, or something ludicrous like that. There is no excuse & abusers should be held accountable.

    The best man won.

  • Kcimsan

Who raised the most money?: Arsenio (overall) FACT!
Who had the better show?: Arsenio in my opinion.
Who offended less people?: Nobody knows, too subjective.
    Cardinal sin? PLEASE!

  • kcimsan

    Hall raised more money overall!
It has nothing to do with Magic, but AIDS / HIV.
Did you fall asleep during that part?

  • Kcimsan

I think you watched different PSAs than the rest of us. Arsenio pulled in more money overall, FACT. Arsenio won both his both projects, Clay lost half his. The last project apparently was won by Arsenio, so he was 100% whereas Clay was 331/3. I was rooting for Clay to win, but he was hardly always professional throughout. Did you forget his many run-ins with the women? Hello!

  • Kcimsan

No, last was Cheryl Tiegs, Clay Aiken finshed second.

  • Kcimsan

Did you really watch the series or just the last show? Hall pulled in more money overall. He won both his projects, whereas Aiken lost half his. Both FACTS!

  • Caz132

I personally am not going to watch The Celebrity Apprentice due to Trumps egotistical opinion in chosing the winner. Clay had the best show and should have won.

  • re

Clay got the shaft again. Arsenio did not contribute much of anything during all the tasks he depended on his team mates.

  • Anonymous

Did anyone every wonder why Lisa would do such a raunchy routine? We all know she does an adult show normally, but you’d think since this was being televised and considering there are families that watch the show together she would have cleaned up her act. Besides the fact it gave her a chance to get in some digs at Clay I think she was hoping her raunchiness would get blamed on Arsenio and it would cause him to lose.

  • Chaitee

Clay should have won for sure. AH is old and washed up. He is so fake and there was no reason to get so vulgar on the show. I love the show but I will think twice about watching it next season. Clay should have won hands down. I was so disappointed. Trump may be an idot after all.

  • Caz132

I won’t watch Celbrity Apprentice again, Trump names the winner on whoever he likes the most not on talent. I agree with yhou Hat.

  • Anonymous

As you stated, given the audience, it’s difficult to imagine that any intelligent adult, particularly someone as intelligent as Lisa proclaims she is, would believe such crudeness, directed at the boss & his daughter no less, would reflect favorably on their team. Just like the donation to Clay’s team. As she herself said, she knows when to use her evilness.

Thankfully, I think Mr. Trump saw her for what she was didn’t reward her, or Aubrey. He did good by Dayana. Did you see how high she jumped for joy when Arsenio won? I was as happy for her as I was for Arsenio.

  • Straightshooter

Why didn’t Arsenio raise more money?

  • Hickory717

So right! Arsenio was a fantastic PM and team player all the way through, even keeping his temper in check with Aubrey, who is the most toxic person I’ve ever seen on TV.
Also, Arcenio is so committed to his charity and you could see it in his face. Great heart! Congrats Arcenio!!!!!

  • Anonymous

Yet, in EVERY OTHER COMPETITION along the way, it was ALL ABOUT the amount of money raised. Such a freakin’ hypocrite. Aubrey O’Day SHOULD have been one of the finals. I boycotted the show after Trump dismissed her.

  • Anonymous

She was the youngest one on there, and she was CONFIDENT! Yes, she has a lot to learn (as far as her attitude, etc.) but THAT only comes with experience. I am a strong woman, and I have NO PROBLEM with other strong women. I think Aubrey was AWESOME!! She kept her wits about her when others were falling apart. She came up with SOLUTIONS … not problems. Why is it when a woman is strong and assertive and INTELLIGENT, she is labeled so negatively? Yet, when a man is this way, he is ADMIRED?!

  • Kcimsan

WOW – What did you watch? Aresenio was attacted over and over by two “women” and he retaliated. He pulled in more money overall, won both his tasks, and had a better cause. Clay last half his tasks and was hardly a gentleman towards Dayana or did you miss that too? Calling Trump an idiot because he picked the real winner says it all.

  • Kcimsan

    LOST half his tasks.

  • Sally

Good on ya Areenio! Australia is standing behind you! Awesome performance mate! You deserved it! :)

  • Sally

Aubrey… Toxic…. What a compliment!!! Toxic doesn’t even BEGIN to describe it!!! To see that vile excuse for a human lying and trying to cunningly redeem herself in the finalé. A little too late Oday… We all seen thru ya! Gagging….

  • Salay99

Yeah that was a very memorable moment in television history…. (smiling…)

  • Wikki224

He just hung on everyone’s else coat tail. Clay was much better. It was because of Magic Johnson charity more than anything.

  • TrumpSalad2012

Everyone thought Clay would win. He had the better performance, and raised more money in the task. Arsenio had the better video, and was undefeated as a Project Manager. They party was a tie. Maybe Trump and Arsenio are launching a new talk show, and this will fuel the PR blitz. Anyone who doesn’t think there are a lot of strategical decisions on who gets fired and who stays on is delusional. That explains why Dayana and Audrey lasted so long (eye candy and controversial). No way was Audrey going to get into the finals, let alone win it. She lost way too many tasks (including the final, where she said there was no show without her – even though she was just the party organizer – Deborah designed the show). There were many pretty ladies on the show. Audrey just ticked everyone off. This is not haters being haters. Audrey deserved all the criticism. She played the game by being cruel to others, and ignoring her project managers, and then didn’t like it when she was played by Trump. Haw.

  • Geoff_gm3

I’m sure u know more then Donald trump, maybe u should start a show you joke!

  • Missalleycat2000

I agree…Clay should have been the winner. Trump picked AH to boost his new show, boost Celebrity, and the network. Talk about being fixed!! I use to like AH,, but he allowed himself to be part of something like this. He sold out. I hope his new show bombs.

  • Ellie N Houston

    ewwww

  • Ellie N Houston

disagree… it simply showed that she had a respect for her competition. Like her or hate her… she does seem to have strong loyalty to those she likes. It certainly did not appear that AH was offended, perhaps surprised but did show class in how he accepted it.

  • Ellie N Houston

Interesting that both individuals that showed the most integrity throughout the show, as well as were the most articulate, hung in there to the end. I admired how each played the game overall (perhaps with one or two slip ups, but they are human!) and how they each approached their team members and their individual charities. On the surface it looks to me that AH perhaps a little more self serving i.e. possible new show in the works while CA truly goes back to his roots with the National Inclusion Project – he was a special ed teacher at one time. Kudo’s to both for putting themselves out there for charity… and having to kow tow to the trumps… can’t have been easy at times.

  • anthony

donold iff thesr two guyes worked for you, and one guy pulled in half as munch dough, we know a.h. would be gone. c.k put on a better show. a. h. does not have the staying power like jack parr or the late great j.c. or the present great jay leno, these guys have staying power. i think a.h. should try acting.

  • Anonymous

Arsenio was undoubedly picked for the show so that a black could win…he was picked to win before the show even taped one episode…blacks have always been the worst performers on the show, but they hold on a lot longer than they should due to Trump not wanting to look racist for firing blacks…he was praying that Arsenio could at least make it to the end without it being totally obvious he was an affirmative action selection.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/IFIX4AKFXM35SJV6RYCHIUQXIA DB

I just hope Arsenio fads back into the woodwork and we don’t see him with another late night racist talk show. We’ve come too far as a nation to bring back a racist.

  • Dana

All you people saying you’ll never watch it again, WHATEVER!! You’ll be back. Lastly, I thought they were both good, but AH did better. He’s very smart, one both projects. I look forward to seeing his show on air. :)

  • Justsayinghello23

I agree. Clay should have definitely won. Donald trump was unfair.
I felt sad for Clay. He was robbed again.
    Clay’s hair looked better.
Clay was always well spoken, always attempted to be fair and helpful.

That red hair girl… was so full of herself… told Farouk that her red color was natural,
then, she turned around and colored it.

  • guest

Arsenio appeared to be a “butt kisser”… and, he made a butt kissing comment to Donald Trump.
Donald reiterated the comment… and Arsenio unfairly won…
Clay’s show was way better, and raised almost twice the money.
Clay should have won BOTH shows, and was robbed twice.

  • guest

Arsenio was always in tears. That is a sign of caring, yes, but, also of depression. I felt that he seemed to be going through a depression.

  • Anonymous

Who are you responding to? I didn’t mention anything about PM wins, because those are a joke too. Who cares what tasks Arsenio “won” when behind the scenes the wins were granted by his fairy godmother? That’s not a win. That is a FAKE win. Despite producing wins, the one thing the Trump crew could NOT produce was any video showing Arsenio producing great ideas or showing any video evidence of superior leadership skills. Nodding one’s head and going with the flow is not how things happen, unless you’re a puppet.

On another note please don’t brag about your knowledge of the business world when you don’t seem to get a thing about it. It ABSOLUTELY matters if you like somebody or not. It matters what the reasons are. People generally don’t like losers to win for false reasons. It offends their sense of right and wrong.

You missed the point about the poker face. He doesn’t have one. His emotions are false. When he cries it is a put-on. The crying escalated after he caught heat for his very REAL reaction to Aubrey in the boardroom. His smile is not authentic. His listening intently is a show, but not authentic. His apologies were insincere and merely a necessity. I could go on, and on.

I never said Clay should have won either. I simply stated the four contestants that were a better choice than Arsenio.

  • Anonymous

Charities always win. That isn’t the point. Frankly, the wrong charity won.

I am female, and I am use to the stereotype regarding poker. Like I said, my TV time is limited, and no, I will not watch CA or The Apprentice again! I should thank Donald personally for granting me a couple of extra free hours a week:)

If this was suppose to be about star quality, outrageousness, and showmanship then Lampanelli wins. Even Clay was funnier than Arsenio. Arsenio’s talk show wasn’t even funny, frankly. He won’t beat the Ellen and the Kimmel ever. Mark my words, Trump bet on the losing horse. Wait! It might not even be a horse. It’s just pretending!

You aren’t a winner when behind the scenes the CA machine sprinkles pixie dust and makes it happen. Where is the footage of Arsenio’s great ideas? Where is the video proof of his superior leadership? That’s right! We didn’t see it, because it didn’t exist. Things don’t happen because you nod your head like a bobble doll and go with the flow…unless you are a puppet.

It’s always better to have an idea than not have one at all, like Mr. Hall. Besides, isn’t it really a sign of leadership when you can get others to sign off on your crappy ideas. Hmmm…yet, they call HIM a leader.

Arsenio will be around about as long as Trump’s run for the Presidency. He will never hold a candle to the Ellen, the Kimmel, the Leno or the Letterman. Therefore, he is washed up. Aubrey is bright and beautiful. If she learns to be grateful rather than arrogant about her gifts, she WILL be around. Clay is a winner in life regardless. He has a great charity, cause and voice.

He didn’t mistreat Dayana. She legally overstepped her bounds many times. When you are told to leave someone’s space, rudely or not, you need to do that or you are crossing a legal boundary. The way she wouldn’t leave the side of Lampanelli, despite Lampanelli yelling at her, falls under “assault.” When she was told to shut-up and wouldn’t leave Lampanelli alone, but instead trailed after her, bantering her mindless nonsense, that also constitutes assault. There seems to be some confusion as to what mistreatment actually is.

On a less legal note, I consider it abusive to have a mindless ding a ling shoved down my throat just because she won the boss’ beauty contest. That is offensive. No matter how many weeks he tried to expose her “brains,” he actually did the opposite. There was no redemption there for me, only frustration at his transparent motivation.

What?! Who is Clay to turn money away for the benefit of the disabled children of his charity? He absolutely did the right thing by accepting the $$ for the kids. Unfortunately, it went to Arsenio’s charity, but he didn’t know that at the time. $$ is $$. There weren’t any strings attached.

O.K. so aside from the fact that your post is bordering on assinine, it also does not rise to the level of common sense, so I am going to “choose” to back away slowly and hope something shiny gets your attention, so that I can run!

    Then why are you responding?

I mostly lost interest after Penn Gillette was fired. He was EASILY the most worthy Apprentice. The quote that got him fired, about “earning it” was EXCELLENT, and the only thing Gillette did wrong was not DEFENDING it as he SHOULD have. Penn’s a PROUD capitalist – A disciple of Ayn Rand and Libertarianism and embodies the capitalist spirit.

Both my daughter and I said that was it for CA as Joan Rivers and Arseno Hall both winning made us realize it has nothing with being the best. The good days are gone, it is all political now..

I have nothing against strong women, and I totally agree with you that many times strong women are not held to the same standard as strong men. Which isn’t right.

However, this is not the case here. Yes, Aubrey was strong, but she was also mean, backstabbing, self-centered and wanted everyone to follow her when she was PM but didn’t wanted to follow others when they were.

And I find it funny that, when she spoke in her packages, she was against bullying and said she once was bullied herself, yet many times she used bullying tactics when she interacted with those she didn’t like and/or she wanted to get her own way.

I am appauled and insulted with the chosen winner! Mr. Trump, you usually do the right thing! what happened? People respect the right decisions….in the end the wrong one was made. You know this to be true! There should have been no other considerations, any behind the scenes discussions! remember we all viewed their performance! I will admit it was “fairly close” but not as close from a business point of view! Clay was the better businessman! his read on people was “spot-on” his show was better, raised more money, and was simply the winner. I’ll give it one more chance-and know this, if it happens again, I too will not view the show again. ps. I loved your show because you always made the right decision on who to fire….soooo what-up? I’m not a hater of Arsenio by any means, I love Magic Johnson….but the better player was Clay! If I owned my own business I would choose Clay over Arsenio.

I don’t have any respect for asshole arsenic hall, he is fake, nasty, pretentious, and just the way he was being rude and malicious towards Aubrey made me disgusted. Donald made a huge mistake in hiring a disgusting piece of crap like that…sad example of a man….

  • Kcimsan

What? What proves your point? The fact that you can’t even create a screen name or that you can’t spell THIEF or your English is poor at best? “WERE white”? Do you mean WAS Caucasian? I’m “white” (sic), so if I was a racist, I would be backing Clay, not Arenoso, HELLO?
    Slow down and read!

  • Kcimsan

HELLO? Trump never ran for the presidency, he only talked about it. The word ‘the’ does not apply to the people you mentioned, just the Donald. Arsenio won an Emmy, was THE “Celebrity Apprentice,” and will return to late night televison in 2013. That’s hardly washed up. Yes, Clay is a winner in life, but you were 0 for 3 and you’re out!

  • Kcimsan

Arsenio returns to late night televison on CBS, not the network a lot of you KNEW would happen to “pay back” Trump. Keep your day jobs. :-)

  • Kcimsan

Sorry, that was contraction, not contradiction.

  • Kcimsan

Good catch, but one spelling error is but a fraction of HARTNETT’s problems. English and spelling are different.
    Yuck?

  • Kcimsan

I think you watched a different series than the rest of us. Arsenio raised more money over all than Clay, won both his tasks, and had arguably a better skit. AH is indeed a celebrity! Look at his body of work; an Emmy winning late night show, multiple comedy awards, film awards, star on the Walk of Fame, Celebrity Apprentice winner, and now will return to late night television. Why do you think Clay is a nobody? You need to get out more.

  • Midgedanny

Clay was far the best and tries harder then anyone else to do things perfect, and does. there is no consevable reason he did not win except Donald trump dislike for him..It was cruel the way he led him on to think he would win.But the worst of all was how he complemented all the other singers and passed up on clay.Trump is a nasty cruel person, He set Clay up for the fall..on purpose….

  • Rik

I had the same observation. She is very talented but she is a very poor team player. For that reason Arsenio made the right choice to chose teressa over her. I would do the same thing in a heartbeat. One toxic player in a team can change the dynamic and people that have a lot to contribute end up being marginalized when someone like that is around.

  • Rik

I do think Clay did a better job in the finals from an artistic standpoint. However, when I put myself in Trump’s shoes, I find myself making the same decision over and over. I would rather work with Arsenio because he is not always anxious and awkward like Clay. He also made a much better choice when chosing his team. He had absolutely no team conflicts whatsoever in the final project and I believe that is how he operates on a normal basis, whereas Clay seems to be a bit confused at times. AH’s real genius was chosing Teressa over Aubrey, because I believe Aubrey is a troublemaker, whereas Clay chose Penn. Enormous blunder in my opinion, that could be cause of big problems in a company in real life. Just an awful work environment on Clay’s team, and that can only point to poor management. I would much rather be on Arsenio’s team. I believe Clay could be an excellent manager, perhaps with more experience though. At the time of the show, Arsenio was hands down the better manager. Trump did indeed make the right decision.
