Arnold Schwarzenegger to Release Memoir in 2012

Truth rating: 10

Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a deal to write a memoir, his publisher Simon & Schuster confirmed Thursday.

The book, titled “Total Recall,” is slated to be released in October 2012.

Schwarzenegger’s memoir will cover his acting career and experience as the governor of California, as well as his early work as a bodybuilder.

Simon & Schuster’s Jonathan Karp said in a statement, “Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world.”

“Nobody has a life story even close to his,” adds Karp.

It’s not yet known whether the memoir will also cover Schwarzenegger’s divorce from Maria Shriver and his fathering of an illegitimate child with his housekeeper, Patty Baena.

The Terminator star began quietly working on the book in 2010.

Peter Petre, the former executive editor of Fortune, is assisting Schwarzenegger with the writing.

NO,NO,NO,HELL NO! Jonathan Karp may find him fascinating, maybe he plans to buy up all the books for himself. As a long time resident of California, I don’t need a book to remind me of the experience we had with him as Governor. God Help Us, we remember. But at least his wealthy friends made out okay. And the whole world knows what an outstanding husband he was with all his good morals and fidelity. Should be titled ‘Total Recall of What a Creepy Egomaniacle Jerk I Am’

Schwarzenegger probably needs money to support all those children and his ex-wife. His money has probably depreciated from what it use to be. I don’t think that I would find the book interesting.
