Ariana Grande Gets 42-Pound Pumpkin From Creepy Super-Fan
Ariana Grande has millions of fans, but at least one of them is creeping out the singer. Tim Normandin, a 29-year-old admirer, has allegedly been sending Grande a bunch of packages including a lot of stuff she probably doesn’t want or need.
Among the items Normandin has sent Grande are a 42.5-pound pumpkin, a rock from the White Mountains in New Hampshire, eight Yankee candles, a $200 anklet from Kay Jewelers, a Kmart mirror set and calendars featuring dogs and cats. Police recently visited Normandin in Lowell, Massachusetts and told him to stop bombarding Grande with the packages, or he’d face criminal harassment charges.
Earlier on Monday, Grande released the music video for “Love Me Harder,” which features the lyric, “Cause if you want to keep me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder / And if you really need me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder.” Probably not the message Grande wants to send to Normandin.
In recent months, the performer has faced a slew of wrong “diva” rumors, including a report that falsely alleged she was overheard saying, “I hope they all f*cking die” after meeting with fans at an event. She shot down the rumor on Twitter and talked about her healthy relationship with supporters. Hopefully fans like Normandin are respectful in return.
