Ariana Grande appears to be the target of an early April Fools’ Day prank claiming that naked pictures of the singer-actress have leaked. On Monday, the topic #ArianasNudesLeaked began trending nationally on Twitter.

Numerous fans linked to fake, photoshopped images of a “nude” Grande, or specifically referenced April Fools’ Day as the context for the stunt. The prank is not particularly funny, especially coming a day too soon. Grande herself has yet to address the fake “leak” on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Grande’s “Sam & Cat” co-star Jennette McCurdy actually had private selfies surface online, which caused her dismay and embarrassment.

While Grande has yet to publicly address the fake photos, a source close to the singer tells Gossip Cop exclusively that she’s fully aware of the hoax and is annoyed. We’re told, “It doesn’t matter that it’s a hoax, no one likes seeing her name trend with words like ‘nudes’ and ‘leaked’… It’s just infuriating.” Our insider says Grande knows her fans don’t believe the hoax, “but that doesn’t make it any less sh*tty… She’s pissed. It’s not funny to her.”
