Ariana Grande ‘Greatest Hits’ Video: Watch Whitney Houston Tribute Performance!
Ariana Grande paid tribute to Whitney Houston on Thursday’s live finale of “Greatest Hits” with cover versions of “How Will I Know” and “Queen of the Night.” Watch the singer’s performance in the video below!
Each episode of ABC’s summer music series, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Arsenio Hall, has celebrated the biggest hits from the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s. Past installments of the weekly show have featured famous musicians paying tribute to the best tracks from a particular five-year period. But the two-hour finale highlighted songs spanning 1980 to 2005.
And, in addition to Grande performing two of Houston’s biggest hits from the ’80s and ’90s, Adam Lambert covered George Michael’s “Faith,” Celine Dion sang “My Heart Will Go On,” and John Legend covered Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing).” Sheryl Crow and Ballerini also teamed up for a duet of “All I Wanna Do,” marking the second time the co-host took the stage, too. Nelly also came by to perform his classic hits, “Ride wit Me” and “Hot in Herre.”
Additional artists who participated in the big finale included En Vogue, New Edition, Richard Marx, and Flo Rida, who performed a hip-hop tribute. Check out full video of Grande honoring the late Houston on “Greatest Hits” below!
