Ariana Grande “Dangerous Woman” MTV Movie Awards Video: Watch Performance!
Ariana Grande performed “Dangerous Woman” at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, which were broadcast on Sunday. Check out the video below!
Grande’s performance was pre-taped on Saturday, along with the rest of this year’s ceremony, a marked departure for the typically-live show. Held on the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, California, the singer debuted a new version of “Dangerous Woman.” She was joined by Broadway composer Jason Robert Brown, who played piano.
The glamorous performance was introduced by Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, who called Grande “sexy” and “powerful.” The songstress teased in advance of the show that her appearance would be “more character-y” with her “play[ing] dress-up.” When she took the stage, Grande gave off serious Marilyn Monroe vibes with a pink gown, white fur shawl, and diamond necklace.
As Gossip Cop reported, Grande performed “Dangerous Woman” for the first time on “Saturday Night Live” last month, when she served as both host and musical guest. The song is the lead single off her upcoming album of the same name. The record is slated to be released on May 20.
In addition to Grande, Halsey also performed at this year’s MTV Movie Awards. Watch video of the “Dangerous Woman” performance below!
