Are Jennifer Aniston & Gerard Butler Getting “Steamy”?

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler may play former flames who reconnect in their upcoming film “The Bounty,” but some outlets are having serious trouble separating fact from fiction. Rumors have returned of real-life romance between the co-stars.
Now magazine – which previously concocted claims of Brad Pitt‘s jealousy over Aniston’s non-relationship with Butler (no, really) — stirs the pot again with a piece alleging Aniston has launched an “all-out bid to reignite” romance with the Scottish actor.
According to the tab, Aniston’s “been bombarding [Butler] with phone calls, sexy texts and emails.” The mag quotes an “insider” who calls these exchanges “steamy, to say the least.” Loving that Butler’s a “rogue,” Aniston is supposedly “flirting with danger by going back to him as he’s already humiliated her by publicly denying their affair.”
Uh, the “affair” that never happened?
The so-called “insider” tells Now, Aniston “thinks she made a mistake breaking up with Gerard and she’s desperate to win back his affection.”
When it comes to making a “mistake” and being “desperate,” no one knows better than Now.
A representative for Aniston tells Gossip Cop the reheated rumors are “nonsense.”
