I just saw Water for Elephants… and it is AWESOME!!! True to the book, the casting for the parts was superb. Reese Witherspoon was the perfect Marlena as well as Christoph Waltz for August and then Robert Pattinson as Jacob Jakowski was the best!! Robert is the next Johnny Depp!!!

I saw Water for Elephants on opening day . I plan on seeing again with my daughter . I loved every minute of it. Rob did a fantastic job as Jacob . Everyone else was wonderful in it . I hope this proves to everyone That Rob is Box Office worthy. Rob is here and he is not going anywhere .

    sry Rio…

I saw both Rio and Water for Elephants this weekend. Rio was a very good and fun animated feature no doubt. Water for Elephants was special. It harkened back to a big old Hollywood movie. Loved the music, costumes, cinematography, everything about it. But no matter if it had all these things it will fail if the audiences don’t like the story and the actors character portrayals. Christoph Waltz was very good. You didn’t know whether to love or hate until he went after Rosie. Reese was great as a broken woman not knowing which way to turn. Robert Pattinson was the perfect Jacob Jankowski. When I first read the book I didn’t know who to imagine as Jacob. The next time, Robert Pattinson was the perfect fit. He has Jacob down to a “T”. Everything the book had. I think this young man is a very fine young actor.

I saw Water for Elephants this Friday. While there were some marked differences from the book, I feel that the differences were done to make the film flow. Christoph Waltz was excellent. Reese Witherspoon was great! Hal Holbrook was endearing. Robert Pattinson did a very good job as Jacob. Visually the film was stunning. I really liked the book. I was hopeful that the movie adaptation would do it justice. I think that it did.

I saw Water for Elephants this weekend, and it did not disappoint. This is a very good box office turnout for Rob and Reese (has anyone mentioned how Reese needed a hit as well?), especially since it wasn’t given as many screens and times as the latest Tyler Perry installment. Rob was perfect as Jacob, and it’s definitely a good transitional role for him. Not bad indeed! :D

i only saw a few differences but they were all good. my friend who saw it with me almost walked out because of the animal abuse, but she stayed and said it was rather good

i have seen Rio&WFE both. Rio is a great fun for the whole family…lol ..i don’t know how anyone can talk about these two movies as if they have something in common but anyway, WFE is special and beautiful indeed, totally agree. don’t remember when was the last time a movie kept me all warm, fussy & anxious at the same time without any special effects until the last minute . as usual when the acting is great no explicit sexual scenes or action tricks are needed. this is what Robert’s or Waltz’s acting is for, u just make yourselves comfortable in the chair and watch/listen to their every move/word/stare/ facial express. wish Rob would star in some elegant comedy or intellectual action, it’s not too much to ask:) now he deserves some break but too long.

Rob was great! They all were. I really loved Christoph, he really did play one of those characters that you love to hate. Although there were some variations from the book, it was very good. And it was great that there wasn’t a bunch of bad language or any raunchiness. As for those who said that no men would go to watch, there were a lot of men in the audience and they all seemed to really enjoy the movie. There were no people there younger than college age and up. I enjoyed it very much and will be watching again. WAY TO GO ROB!!
