Anne Hathaway Addresses Her Haters After Oscars Win (VIDEO)

Anne Hathaway addressed her haters following a big win at the Oscars on Sunday.

The Les Miserables star’s awards season speeches have been criticized by some observers as too openly emotional and “earnest,” and when a reporter raised the issue during Hathaway’s backstage press conference, the actress responded to the backlash.

“It does get to me,” admitted Hathaway, but she went on to explain (using, of all things, a discussion of the universe’s “anti-matter”) that “things tip in the scale of the positive.”

She continued, ”I live my life with love, I live my life with compassion, I live my life hoping the best for absolutely everyone, no matter how they feel about me.”

    Classy????!!! Ohh c’mon!!!!!!! Love her a an actress but she tries too much!!! Where is her classiness if she can’t be earnest?? We don’t love everybody and its classy to admit it in a classy way. Compassion?? WFH?? I can’t stand when actresses act even when they are not paied too. She’s kissing someone’s ass adn I am sorry cause i am her Fan as an actress and she can act beautifully

    Perhaps it was the over the top media blitz months before this movie ever came out. I saw it and liked it but if I had seen one more “behind the scenes” ficlet with Hugh Jackman talking about it I would have shoved red hot pokers through my eye sockets. We get it; you were singing without pre-recording and it was cutting edge and I applaud you for it. Now stop talking about it ad nauseum; enough. Good for her winning her Oscar she did a nice, albeit brief, job but don’t try to tell me there wasn’t a full court press going for her to win this for the last six months.
