Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett NOT Feuding, Despite Late And Wrong Report
According to Star, Blanchett is finding Hathaway “annoying and pretentious” on the set of their new movie, Ocean’s Eight. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “As soon as Anne arrived, she acted like she was the movie’s star. She is lobbying to turn her part into the lead, with everyone else as supporting roles. Cate’s not having it.”
The magazine’s supposed insider further claims, “Cate is very laid-back, and Anne took that as a sign that she could boss her around.” “She and Cate exchanged some angry words the other day and haven’t spoken since,” adds the publication fabricated or woefully ill-informed tipster. What’s more, the repeatedly discredited outlets contends the rest of the all-female cast, including Sandra Bullock, Dakota Fanning, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter, are all equally as irritated by Hathaway.
Gossip Cop, however, already debunked this made-up story when the Australian outlet, Women’s Day, first made the same inaccurate claim a few days ago. The magazine wrongly reported Hathaway and Blanchett were feuding on the Ocean’s Eight set, but we were exclusively assured by a rep for Hathaway that the entire article was “fabricated.” It wasn’t true then, and it’s certainly not true now.
