Anna Kendrick, Jimmy Fallon Read Spooky Kids’ Stories On “Tonight Show” (VIDEO)
With Halloween right around the corner, Fallon brought back his “Kids Campfire” series to read ghost stories around a tiny fire pit. With the stage lights out and the trio only illuminated by flashlights, they did their best reading tales that were all penned by children under 10. As such, some of the lines were pretty priceless.
In “The Anonymous Man,” Fallon had to read the story of a boy seemingly being chased by a man he couldn’t see. “I was so scared my underwear almost came off,” the host said to laughs, going on to say, “He could be in your house, and he might scare your underwear off.”
For “The Hungry Ghost,” Kendrick began quite seriously, “Most stories start ‘once upon a time.’ But those are nice stories, and this is a scary story.” Surprisingly, the very un-scary McDonald’s ended up involved. And for “Ghost Boy,” Lithgow really got into character with sound effects.
Then, all three role-played together with “The Basket,” though we won’t spoil what happened. Keeping with the show’s theme, Kendrick also spoke about going to a sexy haunted house during her interview. Check out the videos below!
