Anna Faris & Chris Pratt Welcome a Baby

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt welcomed their first child, a son named Jack, on Saturday.

“He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time,” her rep said in a statement to Gossip Cop.

The couple, who wed in 2009, announced they were expecting in May.

    congrats to them but if they wanted privacy to deal with baby Jack being in the nicu maybe they shouldn’t have announced his birth so quickly you can’t have your cake and eat it too

    Are you serious? It sounds like their baby came very early. They would have not had a choice but to announce it since people would have noticed she wasn’t pregnant anymore into the fall, when she was due. You are an asshole. I have had a child in the NICU in this very situation and it is a heartbreaking and traumatic experience. In case your ignorant brain doesn’t understand, NICU stands for NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT. This is a delicate situation for them. Stop judging them and have some humanity. Good Lord.

    I don’t ever comment on things like this but to Courtney, that’s just an awful thing to say. Having a baby in NICU is one of the scariest thing any parents have to go through . I hope you don’t ever have to go through what they’re experiencing right now. Your heart breaks everyday watching your little one fight her his/her life. The feeling of being helpless, praying and hoping your baby will be okay are some of the things I will never forget. It’s a very tramatic experience to say the least. That’s just shameful thing to say. SMH
