Anna Clendening received a standing ovation on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent” after an emotional audition.

The contestant revealed that just months ago, she was bed-ridden by depression and anxiety, unable to leave her house and not wanting to be alive.

Performing a beautiful and chilling rendition of “Hallelujah” in front of thousands of people marked a monumental milestone for Clendening, and Howie Mandel rose in awe before the 20-year-old was even close to finished singing.

She immediately burst into tears, and Mandel — who suffers from OCD and rarely touches people — ran on stage to comfort and congratulate her with a hug.
