I understand what you are saying. I for one am not hating on her but stating how callous her statement about being anorexic and bulimic was. I am empathetic for people with those conditions. I personally have seen people die with these conditions who have done nothing to no one, nice people, just waste away. No one could help them, and on the positive side, I have seen people who did recover completely. This is nothing to play around with, nothing to hammer anyone on. It’s like when she said that, then if you have those conditions, you are in the same category as Princess Di. Evidently, she sounds as if she didn’t think very much of her because she had those conditions. She probably doesn’t know any more about her than I do..

We don’t know what exactly Princess Di had to deal with in her personal life with a man who married her, and was in love with another woman and later moved her into the palace with them.. Then if I can remember, Princess Di said so.. She was very unhappy. We don’t know if having to deal with this sort of thing drove her to the conditions, she might not have known. All I am saying is when a person speaks and tears down a person, it affects many others. How do you think those people feel who have these conditions after what she said? Also, its not what you say, but rather how you say it, she could express her opinion more tastefully and gotten her point across, if you find nothing wrong with the manner in which she said what she did, then you seriously have issues as well.

Maybe she did have these problems, but the one thing you forgot to mention: she was under CONSTANT scrutiny from the Queen, (not to mention the rest of the ‘London High Society’) and Elizabeth made it very obvious that she didn’t approve of her daughter-in-law. I know that (most) people tend to idealize those who have passed, but in this case, I believe that the main reason for Princess Diana’s problems was directly related to the stress of not only trying to please a dried up old prune, and a husband who completely destroyed her love for him by publicly humiliating her.
