Angie Miller Performs with Adam Lambert, Jessie J on American Idol Finale (VIDEO)
Angie Miller made a triumphant return to “American Idol” on Thursday’s finale, just one week after her after her shocking elimination. The former contestant performed “Titanium” with “American Idol” alum Adam Lambert, the runner-up in season 8.
Miller also took the stage to sing “Domino” with one of her personal idols, Jessie J. As Gossip Cop has reported, Miller performed the British singer’s songs several times during the season, often calling Jessie one of her favorite artists. In fact, Miller’s golden ticket to Hollywood came after singing Jessie’s “Mama Knows Best.”
Jessie, who flew in from the UK just for the “American Idol” finale, also had a special surprise for Miller. Following their duet, Jessie J offered to fly Miller to England to perform her “American Idol” single, “You Set Me Free,” at a concert together. Needless to say, Miller was pretty shocked, happily so.
Miller was a front runner in “American Idol” season 12 all season long. She separated herself from the pack early on by performing “You Set Me Free,” a song she wrote herself, back during Hollywood Week. She was believed to be a shoo-in for the Final Two, and was left in tears when she was unexpectedly cut last week, as Gossip Cop reported. That left Candice Glover and Kree Harrison in contention for the victory. (Video is no longer available.)
