Mag: Brad Pitt “Sleepless” and Terrified About Angelina Jolie’s Humanitarian Work

It would be nice if tabloids wrote about Angelina Jolie’s humanitarian work for the right reasons.

Once again, a magazine is using the actress-director’s frequent trips on behalf of the United Nations as a wedge between her and Brad Pitt.

Life & Style claims Pitt recently broke down at a party in New York for Jolie’s In The Land of Blood and Honey, with an “emotional confession” about his fears for her safety.

He supposedly “lamented” Jolie’s insistence on visiting dangerous regions, explaining that he chooses not to go with her because he’s scared to orphan their children.

But that’s not all, says Life & Style, which adds, “Sleepless nights are spent hoping the mother of his six children strapped on her helmet correctly or adjusted her bulletproof vest just right.”

The tab quotes Pitt as allegedly fretting, “Angie’s a target.”

All of this is touching, but it’s another example of an outlet trying to create drama where none exists.

Pitt and Jolie are aware of the real dangers associated with her humanitarian work – but Life & Style is overstating his reaction to it so as to generate controversy.

As a Goodwill Ambassador, she’s not fighting in any wars or being shot by enemies.

She’s going to places stricken by poverty, disease and starvation – and is comfortable in those environments.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop that Pitt is obviously concerned for Jolie’s well being when she travels abroad – or even when she’s in the U.S. – but the notion that he recently gave an “emotional confession” about his fears at a party is absurd.

We’re told he “sleeps soundly” knowing that Jolie has the best people possible ensuring her safety on these trips, and that the story is “false.”

    I am usually right there with the numbers, but this time, I can see a bit of truth to the being concerned part, who would not be. He has said he is, but then says he trusts her and the security he probably pays alot for. The hysteria and sleepless nights part is just a bit much and what is wrong. Tabloids are so very desparate when it comes to this couple, it is clear they make it up as they go.

    PS: On A Cooper she said they spent Thanksgiving at home, so I guess she did not ruin it by staying in VietNam…just another example of the tabloids being total trash There should be a year end round up of the tabloid lies, now that would be interesting.

    Angelina has very good security when she travels for the UNHCR and she is quite safe. She is never in a war zone. I imagine Life & NoStyle does not understand the difference. Also, Gossip Cop probably gave this rumor a 3 simply because, yes, Brad probably worries when the woman he loves is away from him but I doubt he loses sleep over it. He knows what’s what because he has been on several humanitarian trips with her.

    Aniston and her Huvane PR are alway’s looking for way’s to hang onto Brangelina. Come on…can’t believe you can’t identify that by now. A steady stream of untruth’s and desperate useless title’s by useless magazine’s. all kinds of stunt’s pulled in month of December alone by Aniston PR. And she has to allow it. Desperate it appears…While Jolie’s “In The Land Of Blood And Honey” hits the silver screen. Please jelise get real it is soooo obvious to most of us already. And I used to like Aniston. Just sad for her already.
