Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt “Saved Marriage” Story Is Life & Style Flip-Flop
According to Wednesday’s new edition of Life & Style, Jolie and Pitt have gone “from the verge of a split… to seriously in love.” It’s said that since the couple wed in 2014, they’d “been fighting and spending time apart, and things had gotten so bad recently that friends believed they were headed for divorce.” Of course, that never happened, just as Gossip Cop said it wouldn’t, and now the magazine is conveniently claiming it’s because “they managed to fight their way back from the brink.”
Here’s the sequence of events: In April, the tabloid published a cover story announcing, “Angie & Brad: The Breakup.” That was followed in May by a story claiming Jolie was “betrayed” by Pitt. Then just weeks ago, it was said Pitt and Jolie were having “crisis talks” to save their marriage.
And now, voila, Life & Style wants everyone to know the marriage has indeed been “saved.” Right. What’s really going on is the publication is attempting to do damage control for its previous mistakes. The outlet created a false narrative about an impending divorce, and now that it didn’t happen, a fairytale happy ending has been presented.
But know this: It’s only a matter of time before Life & Style goes back to the divorce angle, and the whole cycle will repeat. Gossip Cop will still be here to call it all out.
