After a visit on Saturday to Sarajevo, where Angelina Jolie discussed ways to help returning war refugees, the actress announced she was going to film a love story, set against the backdrop of the 1992-1995 Bosnian War.

Through a statement issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Jolie – a Goodwill Ambassador - said production would begin in the fall, and that the movie is about a couple that meets as the war is beginning.

“The film is a love story, not a political statement,” noted the statement.
