CLAIM: Angelina Jolie is Pregnant, 98 Pounds and Headed for Rehab

Angelina Jolie is 98 pounds, pregnant and going to rehab, claims Star magazine.

It’s all part of the tabloid’s strategy of squeezing as many rumors into one cover story as possible!

According to “insiders” for Star, “Pregnant Angelina Jolie is facing a frightening health crisis that has her partner, Brad Pitt, begging her to get the help she desperately needs.”

Huh?

The article starts with the premise that Jolie is “expecting the couple’s third biological child” (not true) but that her “weight has plummeted” (not true) and now Pitt is “urging her to enter rehab” (not true).

Star’s bogus story is filled out with the same endlessly repeated – and never validated – details about how exhausted Jolie’s responsibilities have left her, and how she’s “on the brink” of disaster.

One year ago, the same tabloid shamed itself with a bait-and-switch cover story claiming that a “heroin shocker” would land Jolie in “rehab.”

That allegation was nonsense, as have been a number of the mag’s recent stories about Jolie, including last week’s assertion that she and Pitt were about to “split.”

Exasperated sources close to the couple assure Gossip Cop that she is not pregnant, not going to rehab, and not down to 98 pounds.

    When are they going to stop with these lies? Anybody with sight can see Angelina does not weigh 98 pounds; and if she did weigh 98 pounds she would not be able to get pregnant; and if she is pregnant and 98 pounds there is no way any “rehab” would admit her. She would be in a hospital under constant care. Angelina looks healthy, happy and tired, like any other mother of six children. These rags need to get over themselves.

    I think others need to look at the big picture here. This is NOT an “eating disorder”. There are women worldwide who suffer from this every day. I am no doctor but this is a classic sign that Miss Jolie may very well have what is called Hyperemesis Gravidarum or HG. HG affects women during pregnancy and can very well look like an eating disorder. However, it is clearly the opposite and can cause death to both mother and child if not treated properly. If anyone is interested in learning more about HG please go to http://www.aydenraefoundation.org/, there is a vast amount of information as well as clips from a segment on “The Doctors” about HG and its affects.

    The story about Angelina Jolie not bathing, etc. for a week at a time is bullshit. Anyone doing that would have people complaining to her all the time about her odor, etc. and there would be NO WAY to keep that out of the press at all.
