Angelina Jolie Did NOT Plan London Move, Despite Report
Angelina Jolie is NOT planning to move to London to secure a top position in the United Nations, nor is she taking all six children with her, despite an inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We’re told it’s untrue.
According to TMZ, Jolie’s “endgame” with her child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt was so she could gain sole custody of the children and “move to London with the kids and score a top position in the United Nations.” A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “She’s been looking for an opportunity to end the marriage and bolt for her dream job… with all six children in tow.”
The website further claims Jolie’s decision to involve the DCFS was “orchestrated by two women she’s been relying on for advice for more than a year.” “One is a member of England’s House of Lords, and the other also holds a U.K. government position,” notes the outlet, adding, “We’re told they’ve been in Angelina’s ear, convincing her she could become Secretary General of the U.N. if she plays her cards right.” “[Jolie is] taking their cue that a move to London would help her get closer to the U.N. gig,” purports the site.
But Gossip Cop investigated, and a rep for Jolie exclusively assures us that “there is no plan to move to London.” What’s more, we’re further told the actress has put other projects “on hold,” but a “move was not one of them.” Jolie is staying in Los Angeles, where she, Pitt and the kids will continue their counseling and therapy sessions.
