Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston “Movie Offer” Claim NOT True
A piece in the new issue of In Touch is headlined, “Angelina And Jen’s Bizarre Movie Offer.” It’s said, “Eleven years after Brad [Pitt’s] marriage to Jennifer Aniston imploded after he starred opposite Angelina in 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Hollywood is finding a new way to pit the women against each other.” How so?
Well, a supposed “producer” claims to the tabloid, “Hollywood producers want Angelina and Jennifer to star in a film together. The project has been touted as a take on Bette Davis and Joan Crawford’s What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?, which of course made headlines because the two women were infamous enemies.” According to the magazine, “Angelina laughed when people in her camp brought it up to her in the past,” but the alleged producer notes, “But now, who knows? A film with Jen would be monumental.”
It probably would be. And it’s going to begin production in a week from… never. No one in either star’s camp is suggesting such a project, nor have they ever in the past, because neither actress has any interest in doing a joint film. It’s tabloids like In Touch that keep “finding a new way to pit the women against each other,” and this is just the latest example. And if the magazine bothered to fact-check, it would know that Jolie and Aniston are absolutely not considering such a “movie offer,” regardless of this alleged producer’s claims.
