Tab Trips Up Explaining Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Missouri Trip

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have at least one thing in common with Kim Kardashian.

They all inhabit In Touch‘s fantasy world, where repeating nonsense supposedly makes it magically true.

The magazine has spent years telling everyone that Jolie and Pitt are in trouble. They’re always allegedly fighting and on the brink of splitting up.

But In Touch‘s predictions never come true.

A couple of weeks ago, the tab ran a bogus cover story claiming Pitt had betrayed Jolie by having an “emotional reunion” with ex Jennifer Aniston.

Instead of admitting the Pitt-Aniston connection wasn’t true, In Touch alleges a completely unrelated event – Pitt and Jolie’s recent trip to Missouri over her 36th birthday – was actually Pitt’s bid “to save the relationship.”

“They’ve been through a lot of difficulties in the past few months,” says a so-called “insider” for the mag. “Brad wanted to call a truce. He is willing to do whatever it takes to recapture what they once had.”

More like: In Touch is “willing to do whatever it takes” to continue its endless campaign against Pitt and Jolie, like using the already-happy couple’s heartland visit as a way of covering its tracks for the last 500 wrong stories about them splitting.

“Brad hoped that this trip would fix what’s gone wrong for them over the past couple of months,” explains the tabloid’s source.

As a source close to the couple again assures Gossip Cop, Pitt and Jolie are happy in L.A., Missouri, and everywhere else they find themselves.

    Wow it must have worked. because the whole family is in Malta..Brad and Angie out on a date night…taking the kids to the water park and shopping.

    Wonder why those insiders can’t tell us what is going to happen before it happens

    They really need to move on to some other couple. The whole Brad/Angie breaking up, fighting, Aniston, pregnant is and has outlived it’s time.

    I guess the trip worked, and now In Touch doesn’t have to answer to the imminent breakup. At least their lies are consistent with their other lies if not the real world!

    In Touch seems to forget what it has printed in the past. If the stories about Angelina and Brad’s family not getting along, why would he take her to spend time with them to re-kindle romance? Well, because she obviously loves this place and these people, but that does not fit the other stories. The insiders always know about their personal conversationst but somehow never know when they travel. At least the details of this story are cute, but In Touch and the others bend themselves into pretzels to make it negative. They had to explain them being happy in Malta I guess.

    At least Brad is doing everything to make it right, unlike his previous relationship where he just left…if indeed this is true but In Touch is anti Brangelina and they probably sell more if these two are on the cover so they just can’t help themsleves.

    They seem to always be so busy that going somewhere to relax would take care of stress from their busy lifestyles. So boo to the ones who rather prey upon gifted people just to bring them down!!
