CLAIM: Angelina Jolie In “Rage” Over Brad Pitt And Rihanna
Angelina Jolie did NOT go into a jealous “rage” after Brad Pitt introduced Rihanna at her recent charity gala, despite a ludicrous report. Gossip Cop can bust this nonsense, which, not surprisingly, comes from the pages of the National Enquirer.
As Gossip Cop reported, Pitt humorously paid tribute to Rihanna earlier this month at her first-ever Diamond Ball. To most people, it was nothing more than a good deed shared among friends. But according to the Enquirer, it was proof that Rihanna is a threat to Pitt and Jolie’s marriage. The supermarket tabloid quotes a “source” close to Jolie as saying, “Angie wasn’t a happy camper” after Pitt’s introduction because “she knows Rihanna’s had a serious crush on her husband for some time now.”
“Angelina also heard all about how Brad hung out with Rihanna backstage after the event, and she read him the riot act,” claims the Enquirer’s so-called “source,” who bizarrely alternates between calling the actress “Angie,” “Angelina,” and “Ang.” The tabloid further alleges Jolie dramatically exclaimed to Pitt afterward, “Stay away from that woman,” and in response, he supposedly brought up her (non-existent) “crushes” on Unbroken stars Jack O’Connell and Miyavi.
The Enquirer says that “to appease” his wife, Pitt “subbed for Angie” at the Unbroken premiere, and is hoping “that will get Ang off his back.” But here’s what Gossip Cop wants to know: When will the Enquirer get off Pitt and Jolie’s backs? The magazine has spent years attempting to create trouble in their relationship when Gossip Cop and time continually show otherwise.
As Gossip Cop has already debunked, there is NO concern about Jolie and her Unbroken stars, with whom she has a strictly professional relationship. Yes, Jolie missed the film’s premiere due to chicken pox, but it was an event Pitt was attending regardless. He didn’t go simply to make peace with her, particularly since there was never an issue in the first place. A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop that the Enquirer’s claims about Rihanna causing problems for them are “laughable.”
