Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt appear in the pages of this week’s In Touch, a magazine that has spent an inordinate amount of time inventing increasingly wild stories about the couple’s supposed troubles.

And, as often happens when there’s no actual tension to report, In Touch has brought in a wild card: Pitt’s mom Jane.

According to the tabloid, Brangelina and the kids’ third birthday party for twins Knox and Vivienne “degenerate[d] into a bitter showdown” between Jolie and Mama Pitt.

The fuse was lit when five-year-old Shiloh allegedly refused to draw something for the occasion.

“Jane thinks Shiloh’s wild and rebellious,” says a so-called “insider,” who adds, “Jane is irked at how Angie raises Shiloh. The twins are always being carried; Shiloh’s hand is hardly held. She thinks Shiloh is forgotten.”

Jane’s criticism “did not sit well” with Jolie, claims In Touch.

“The fact that Jane doesn’t like how Angelina raises Shiloh is a huge point of tension between her and Brad,” the “insider” explains.

But the most telling sentence in In Touch‘s article is this one: “It’s a no-brainer that wild child Angelina would butt heads with straightlaced Midwesterner Jane, who seems to shake her head at so many facets of Angelina’s lifestyle.”

That’s the magazine’s “no brain” approach.

Just because Jolie is a Hollywood star and Jane Pitt is from Missouri, In Touch believes there simply must be conflict between them.

But the tabloid is wrong now, just as it’s been wrong in the past about their relationship.

As a source close to Pitt and Jolie tells Gossip Cop the In Touch story is bogus, and there’s no simmering feud between Jolie and Jane Pitt.

Wow, you’re like a CRAZY conspiracy theorist. Are you one of those birthers?

Maybe this story comes from the fact that Jolie made some negative remarks about Mama Pitt in an interview at the very beginning where JOLIE (not Aniston) basically said that Mama Pitt had didn’t know what to make of her and kind of suggested that Jane had never met a person of color before.

Also, if you want to go with that whole conspiracy crap couldn’t it be just as easy to argue that every time there is a negative story about Jolie or Pitt someone figures out a way to blame Aniston for all of it? Honestly, I think blaming Aniston for every thing that ever happens is an extremely tired argument. I look forward to the day wack jobs like you find another scapegoat.

What I find disgusting about these articles? The fact that they sound as if they’re writing this in the 1950s, where ‘dad’ was usually not present in the home due to work obligations, and it was left to Betty homemaker to raise the chillun. If Shiloh’s hand isn’t being held wtf doesn’t brad do it?? Answer: there is no answer, because its all made up b.s. They just pull this stupid insulting sexist crap out of their asss to as usual kick Jolie in the head.. If you really want to know what a society thinks of women, read their tabloids.

i think that this so called rumor has some truth to it because it’s hard to believe that their children are being raised properly due to their nomadic lifestyle. the children should have some stability in their lives such as their schooling and socializing them with other children of their age would also be helpful.

The “nomadic lifestyle” of the Jolie-Pitts has been debated to death. They have tutors for the kids and imagine the life lessons they are learning while “on the road”. Is this any worse than moving all over the world with a military family? From what has been said by shopkeepers, waiters/waitresses, people in the park, and people running things they have attended, it sounds as if the Jolie-Pitt kids are polite, respectful of each other and other people and are really into sharing (not my words, words from news articles, etc.) Tabloids and other rag newspapers should leave this family alone!

SERIOUSLY?! As much as I am a big fan of Brangelina and their cute little broods, I am so sick and tired of seeing their faces in every magazines. Jane Pitt is a wonderful lady, wife, mother and grandmother who would never do or say anything negative about the mother of her grandchildren. This rag seems to bring Jane Pitt into their lies when everything else fails. It’s ridiculous and I don’t know anyone with half a brain who believes any of it. Outta Touch is the rag that always seems to only want to talk about “the white kid” Shiloh and barely mentions any of the other kids. Well, Jane Pitt has THREE other Black grandchildren that she adores (she has a charm bracelet to prove it) and I think only the rags fail to recognize that.

The children attend Lycee Francais; an international schoold that has branches and campuses in ever7y major country/capital of the world. The school has the same academic timetable everywhere, all year round, so if they move from LA to say, France, they pick up where they left off because its the same school and academic roster. Children of Diplomatic families and Army personnel attend this school. The children also become more cultured, aware and confident and they do make a lot of friends, probably more than children who are rooted to the same spot all the time. Its such a great life the JP kids have and lets face it, any of us would have their childhoods in a heartbeat.

Grandparents tend to take to the child that is getting the least attention. Although Viv and Knox are spitting images of Shiloh, it does not appear from the pics we’ve seen that Shiloh gets her fair share of attention. I’m sure its not being done intentionally but it happens in families.
