Angelina Jolie is NOT making Brad Pitt jealous by getting too close to her Unbroken star Jack O’Connell, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can bust the cover story from In Touch, an outlet that spent recent weeks alleging Jolie and Pitt had the “fight to end all fights” (false) and claiming she was set for a “nasty face-to-face showdown” with Jennifer Aniston (also wrong).

This time, In Touch insists Jolie has “fall[en] for another man,” O’Connell, with whom she’s been doing press for their movie. “Their attraction is palpable,” explains a so-called “insider” for the magazine. “She’s physically and emotionally drawn to Jack. Directing and bonding with him has felt dangerous, like he’s reawakened her wild, out-of-control side.”

Her relationship with O’Connell has “shaken” her marriage to Pitt, claims the tabloid. “He’s super jealous,” says the In Touch insider. The magazine describes Pitt as “blindsided” by the chemistry between Jolie and O’Connell during their Unbroken press tour. “Angie and Jack were being so playful that everyone in the room felt uncomfortable,” explains the tab’s source. “Brad confronted Angie afterward, but Angie told him he was overreacting and pretty much blew it off. That really stung for Brad.”

According to the same In Touch source, things are at a breaking point for Jolie and Pitt. “Brad is freaked out for the first time in their relationship,” says the tab’s insider. “He’s facing his fear that Angie could dump him.”

Here’s what actually happened: Angelina Jolie cast Jack O’Connell in her movie, and put her arm around him and smiled while they promoted it. They also said flattering things about each other in interviews. That’s it. End of story. There’s no evidence of cheating. There isn’t even evidence of an intimate friendship beyond their professional commitments. The only incriminating evidence is against In Touch, which tips its hand to having bogus sources. Did anyone else notice that the tabloid’s sources conveniently always repeat the names “Brad” and “Angie,” rather than saying “he” or “she,” as real people often do in conversation?

In Touch has regularly been wrong about Jolie and Pitt since Gossip Cop started in 2009. According to the magazine, the couple is always on the verge of collapse. There’s always an alleged fight or a feud or drama. And none of it ever materializes. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the rumor of Pitt being upset over Jolie’s friendship with O’Connell is “ludicrous.”
