Angelina Jolie Directorial Debut Gets Title and Release Date

Truth rating: 10

Angelina Jolie‘s directorial debut, which was shot last fall and is set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War, has just received a released date and it’s official title.

The previously untitled film is now called In the Land of Blood and Honey, and it’s set to be released in the U.S. on December 23.

When the movie, which was also scripted by Jolie, was announced last summer, it was described as focusing “on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship.”

And while the film is tied specifically to the Bosnian War, Jolie feels “it’s also universal… I wanted to tell a story of how human relationships and behavior are deeply affected by living inside a war.”

She’s an extraordinarily talented woman. While other celebrities excel in walking red carpets, yoga lessons and Botox, Angie is actually doing something to better the world around her. Her kids and Brad are most fortunate to have her in their lives.

Did Angelina Jolie use (steal) this book (The Soul Shattering in English) written by the Bosnian-Croatian author James J. Braddock a.k.a Josip J. Knežević, as the story platform for her movie In The Land of Blood and Honey?

Did she totally miss the truth and core of that genocidal war against Bosnia and her people? Why was she banned from filming in Bosnia by the most influental organization of women – victims of the war?

Did she rewrite history and offended thousands of women and other innocent victims of the Serbian aggression on Bosnia & Herzegovina? Should American women and human rights organizations get involved?
J.J. Braddock (a.k.a. Josip Knezevic) wrote the book “Slamanje duše“(“The Soul Shattering“ in English, or semantically more precisly: „The Shattering of a Soul“). The book is entirely based on facts and actually is a tribute to the Bosnian tragedy. The book is a tribute to all the women (and girls) of Bosnia & Hercegovina, who were subjected to the inhumane, intended, organized and perpetual abuse and rape – an important part of the policy of „ethnic cleansing“ designed by the Serbian
