Angelina Jolie NOT Giving Kids “Anything They Want” During Brad Pitt Divorce, Despite Report
Angelina Jolie is not giving her kids “anything they want” after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fabrication. We’re told it’s “a stupid lie.”
According to the repeatedly discredited HollywoodLife, Jolie is buying her six children “lots of presents” in the wake of her split from Pitt. A seemingly manufactured “source” is quoted as saying, “Angelina is scrambling to do anything and everything to cheer [the children] up.” The alleged “source” adds, “Her first tactic was showing them as much love as possible — more hugs, more compliments, more affection, letting them sleep in her bed and stay up late… Now, she’s resorting to gifts.” “Anything they want, they get it. Zahara, 11, loves to shop so Angie had her go to her favorite online stores and get whatever she wanted,” the fabricated “source” continues.
The often disproven site also alleges what the other kids supposedly want, but does the untrustworthy webloid really think we’ll believe a so-called source who says in conversation, “Zahara, 11, loves to shop”? No real person mentions a child’s name and then their age when speaking. Of course, this is yet another example of HollywoodLies getting caught making up quotes.
Regardless, Gossip Cop still checked in with an impeccable Jolie insider who assures us the entire article is made up. “It’s a stupid lie,” says our rock-solid source. We’re further told that while the actress naturally wants her kids to be happy, she’s smart enough not to try to blatantly buy their love during a custody battle that’s set to before a family judge and may involve a forensic psychiatrist.
Of course, Gossip Cop is not surprised that HollywoodLife concocted this article. We have busted the disreputable outlet on numerous occasions for fabricating reports about Jolie. Not long ago, we exposed it for making up a story about Jolie “rethinking” her divorce from Pitt. We also nailed the site for its fictitious tale about Jolie “hooking up” with Johnny Depp post-divorce filing. And just days ago, Gossip Cop debunked the webloid’s wholly untrue claim about Jolie and Pitt’s kids wanting to live instead with their uncle James Haven, the actress’s brother. Advice: If you see the word “exclusive” on a HollywoodLies story, there’s a good chance it was exclusively made up.
