Angelina Jolie Forces Staff To Watch Her Movies?
Angelina Jolie does NOT force her staff to watch her movies that underperform at the box office, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story. We’re told it’s simply “not true.”
According to Star, Jolie is unwilling to accept it when one of her films isn’t a hit. A so-called “aide” of Jolie’s tells the tabloid that she “forces her staff to see all of her movies, especially the ones that tank.” The alleged insider further claims in the magazine that Jolie was particularly upset that By The Sea bombed at the box office, because she “still believes it’s the greatest.”
But that’s not all. The tabloid’s supposed source alleges that Jolie tried to prove her point about By The Sea by giving all of her staffers a copy of the movie for Christmas. The magazine’s questionable insider says the actress “has been drilling” her employees about the film ever since she gifted them with it, and is looking for “positive feedback only.”
The tabloid’s depiction of Jolie as a egomaniacal tyrant, however, is entirely false. A source close to Jolie exclusively assures Gossip Cop the Star report is “not true.” She doesn’t force any of her employees to see her movies, nor does she think every movie she’s made is a masterpiece.
Of course, we’re not surprised by the falsity of the magazine’s report. Gossip Cop has corrected numerous articles spewed out by the tabloid about Jolie, including a recent and entirely wrong cover story that claimed her supposed “anorexia” had led Brad Pitt to issue a “divorce ultimatum.” That claim was false, and so is the latest about Jolie forcing her staff to watch (and like) her movies.
