Angelina Jolie Wearing Engagement Ring, Says Jeweler

Angelina Jolie has had an engagement ring designed by Robert Procop, the jeweler claims to Gossip Cop.

We’re told Procop created the sparkler in collaboration with Brad Pitt.

Jolie was reportedly spotted with the ring during a trip to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on April 11.

While Procop has confirmed the “engagement ring,” reps for Jolie and Pitt have NOT yet confirmed that the longtime couple is engaged.

Again: Gossip Cop has reached out for comment, and absolutely nothing in the way of an engagement announcement has been made.

A rep for Procop tells Gossip Cop, “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of  it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand. Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution.”

    Funny how now that there are rumors that Aniston plans on getting married, these two are suddenly interested in doing the same. They haven’t said one word about getting married until Justin Theroux came on to the scene.Now it’s all they ever talk about in interviews. This after seven years of claiming solidarity with the gay community. Is there anyone who doesn’t get used by these two?

    Please, people like you need to get over the comparing of Angie and Brad with Jennifer and Justin. It’s so stupid. Angie and Brad said a long time ago that they wouldn’t marry until everyone could. Then they changed their mind when they said their kids were asking about it. They said if their children really want them to get marry they will. It has nothing to do with Jennifer and Justin. *shakes head in disbelief*.

    WHAT A CROCK. Right there at the begiining it says: “ANGELINA JO-LIAR has had a ring designed….” and then it very conveniently and predictably segues into the claim that “BRAD was heavily involved blah dee blah blah…” (Suuuure he was!*big eyeroll*)
    So, WHICH WAS IT, eh? Sounds to ME like the hag HERSELF ordered a ring and THEN is now pishing the claim that ‘Brad was involved…” to make it LOOK like HE ‘wants to marry her”. Well, if that were so, Brad would have done it LONG AGO. But he HASN’T, has he? That, in and of itself speaks VOLUMES about the TRUE nature of this “relationship”.

    You can BET that Jolie has had this ‘released’ into the public domain (probably with the “PAID connivance” of that jeweler; it’s “advertising” for HIM too, after all!) to get “positive buzz” going about them , and “drown out” all that ridicule over the Oscars “leg thrust” incident! *snicker*

    And, urgh, what kind of diamond would “suit” those veiny, ugly, orangutang-ish, velociraptor-talons she calls “hands”? The LESS she calls attention to those things, the BETTER.

    God people like you are so ridiculously naive. Not only do you believe everything a celebrity says because they said it but you actually believe that five year old kids actually know what marriage is. Their kids have no idea about marriage or what it means at that age so I seriously doubt they have been pushing for a wedding. The reality is that these two never said one word about marriage until it looked like Aniston might be getting married.

    Well according to the jeweler Brad has been working on the ring for a year. Let’s see Justin was still living with his GF of 14 years Heidi Bivens last April according to her rep.despite the fact than Jen’s co director from “Five” claim he was known on the set as her boyfriend

    Are you kidding they have kids that are 7, 8 and 10. also I work at a school the 6 and 7 year talk about getting married. Many of them have attended weddings as part of the wedding party

    @mick – I agree with you on this one. They’ve been talking for quite a while about how their kids have been asking them to marry. I think – if its true – that its more a family decision than anything else.

    One thing though — WHY is this jeweler spilling the beans anyway? Not cool.

    @Vajranagini – I am not surprised that Brad would be involved in the design of the jewelry. He helped design his and Jennifer’s wedding rings according to People magazine.

    Apparently you don’t know all their kids aren’t five. Maddox will be 11 and Pax 9 in a couple of months. I have children those ages and believe me they know what marriage is. Brad has spoken out about the kids asking about them getting married and it dosen’t surprise me. Why must some people make this about Jennifer. I think they are both well over each other.

    So where was the “source/friend/insider” with this bit of news. She wore the ring in public two days ago, not hiding, but not one word from the all seeing, knowing and hearing “sources”. Seems this couple knows how to keep a secret and do things in their own time and in their own way inspite of the tabloids and gossips who seem to follow them like shadows!!!!

    If they are truly engaged, then good on them for making the tabloids look like complete and utter fools!!

    Ugh, you are so naive. Why are you comparing Jen and Justin about “RUMORS” about them getting married? I’m pretty sure there has been a lot more rumors of Jennifer about getting “married” and not only to Justin. I mean there’s that singer… and Vince and some of the many other men she dated. They have said it a long time ago that their kids might someday want those two get married, way even before the rumors about Jen getting “married” to Justin. Oh and btw and if you actually read the article it said that Brad and this guy have been designing this engagement ring “yearlong”, I’m pretty sure Jen and Justin haven’t dated for a year.

    their kids are actually not five years old… i’m pretty sure there’s one, but they have 6 children. The oldest is 11 years old just fyi. And kids by that age would know what marriage is.

    If it’s true, congrats to them… With them showing closeup pictures of anything new about them within 3 hours of it happening, I am a little confused to why this diamond ring only has one “somewhat” close up picture. For what little I saw it does not look like a flawless diamond. Making me wonder if this story is really true.. I do wish them well though.

    The engagement could very likely be real, and more power to them if they do eventually tie the knot, BUT this seems like an intentional media leak. The surfaced photo of Jolie, Pax, and Pitt at LACMA is a photograph taken INSIDE the museum … where photographing (and videotaping) of any kind is strictly forbidden. I’ve been to that museum plenty of times, and the staff members who patrol the exhibition rooms go CRAY-CRAY when they so much as see someone whip out a cellphone. There’s no WAY a paparazzo, with a huge, clonkin’ camera hanging around his neck, would even be allowed inside.

    April 11 was a Wedsnesday. The museum is closed on Wednesdays, so Jolie and Pitt likely reserved the complex for privacy. Okay, makes total sense, considering their fame factor. But the only way the paparazzi would have been allowed access into that museum is if it was specially requested. The museum itself would have no reason to invite the paps in through its doors. The only people, then, who could have made the request are Jolie and Pitt, or someone from their camp. So chances are the photos were likely staged.

    They’re trying to be coy about this whole thing but all they’re doing is damaging their credibility. Why taint something so beautiful as an engagement by making it into a ploy for more publicity? They’re going to draw this out and milk it for all it’s worth because apart from media speculation about whether they’re going to have or adopt more children, the only other thing that gets these two mass amounts of attention in the media nowadays is speculation about their marriage plans.
