Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt NOT Getting “$480 Million Divorce,” Despite Report
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are NOT getting a “$480 million divorce,” despite a new tabloid cover story wrongly claiming their marriage is “over after only 15 months.” Gossip Cop can correct the report, which we’re told is “made up.”
The new issue of the National Enquirer, which hit newsstands Wednesday, announces “THE END!” for Jolie and Pitt’s relationship, supposedly due to a “cheating scandal.” The supermarket tabloid features photos of Jolie talking with an unidentified crew member on the set of her new movie in Cambodia, and deems them proof that she’s “two-timing” Pitt. A so-called “pal” is quoted as saying, “To Brad, it’s emotional cheating. He got word from sources on the set and he exploded!”
“The close nature of Angelina’s relationship with the man quickly became the talk of cast and crew, who note how she hangs on his every word,” claims the outlet’s “set insider,” who adds, “Angelina looks positively enamored with this man!” But isn’t it odd how the National Enquirer knows these details, but has no idea what the guy’s name is or what his job is for the production?
The story has more holes than can sink a ship. In fact, the magazine claims Pitt went “drinking with a stunning blonde and his War Machine co-star, Meg Tilly,” as “revenge,” but can’t identify that woman either. And yet the tabloid declares “the heartbreak has doomed” the marriage, and further alleges a “$480 million divorce and painful child custody case await the Hollywood super couple.”
Of course, this is the same publication that announced back in March that Jolie and Pitt’s marriage was “over” after 207 days with a “$425 million divorce” on the horizon. Apparently the couple has gotten richer in the months since, but the National Enquirer’s “sources” haven’t gotten any better. Gossip Cop is told this new cover story is just as off-based as the last one.
