CLAIM: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Have $1,000 Swear Jar

According to the National Enquirer, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have prohibited bad words in their home.

“The stars just laid down a strict ban on cursing that applies to them, their six children – and even old family friends who drop by to visit,” claims the tabloid item.

And it’s not just F-bombs Jolie and Pitt have supposedly sworn off.

Allegedly, no one in their home is allowed to call anyone else “stupid” or say “I hate you!” – otherwise, it’s household chores for the kids and steep $1,000 fines for adults.

But while it’s admirable that Jolie and Pitt would promote clean speech in the house (like many parents do), the Enquirer – last seen alleging that Jolie is a pill addict – got a little carried away with its reporting on this story.

Sources close to the couple tell Gossip Cop that friends and acquaintances walking into the Jolie-Pitt residence are not in danger of anteing up a thousand dollars for letting a curse slip.

We’re told the family has always encouraged polite behavior – but that the Enquirer rumor is mostly “bulls**t.”

Thankfully we didn’t use that dirty word – we can’t afford it!

    Perhaps they should charge 1000 per lie, then they could eventually run some of these tabloids out of business, and they won’t be able to write this (censored language because I’m broke) in their magazines anymore.
    This story is just plain bizarre.

    These lies get funnier and funnier!! It must be hard for these rags to come up with stories about Jolie and Pitt. I mean, what can you say that hasn’t already been said?

    The tabloid obsession with Jolie is just ridiculous! The two or three that are owned by the same parent company use one another to make the stories look legit. They are constantly running stories about Angelina saying that she a) is a horrible, horrible hag that nobody can stand to be around b) is obsessed with and jealous of Jennifer Aniston and spends her time locked in some dungeon whipping up spells to ruin Jen’s life c) a junkie burnout or d) all of the above. I remember reading one article in one of those rags that said Angelina was a horrible, irresponsible mother (as well as an alcoholic) because on one trip to somewhere she and Brad left the kids in the rooms–with the nannies–and went down to the hotel bar to have a drink. On another night during that same trip they left the kids alone again to have dinner by themselves! Oh the horror!!! Someone call CPS! Are you telling me that the busy working parents of 6 who have jobs that sometimes take them away from the family dared to spend a total of 4 hours over 2 nights away from their children who were left in the care of their long-time nannies????!!?!?!!!! Shocked…SHOCKED, I say!

    lost_grrl – I just don’t get all this hate/negativity from people (who I think are Jen fans) and the tabloids. I don’t remember seen such hate for Jen Anisten in the tabloids and constant picking at everything she does. Look at the Heidi/Justin relationship. It was reported that he had a long term (14 years) relationship with Heidi and that Jen stole him. Yet you don’t see this splash all over the tabloids/media and her fans don’t make any comments about that. But with Angie it’s all hate. Maybe you can answer this question for me – before Angie and Brad got together and he was married to Jen did Angie and Brad (especially Angie) have this much hate. I know she did some off the wall things but I don’t remember her getting such hate from people. It seems to me it was after the split with Jen that people/tabloids, etc. became very hateful and negative about her.

    Charity of person’s in this or other countries…what most people do not know…because They are not seekinkg kudos for some of the extraordinary work they have put together and worked on together.,,The hundreds of wells they have helped establish in Sudan for water. The cost to dig just one well for a small village is $2500.00 US dollars.
    Every home home should have a jar…even its just a little…every little bit helps others…whether here or abroad. Great ? though. Happy New Year to You.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a swear jar… lol… we used to have one. And my kids aren’t allowed to say “stupid” or “i hate you” either. The HORROR!!! call cps on me.

    Many stories are told about Brad and Angelina, but people cannot live withouth them. Indeed, they make the difference ….. Love them.
