Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt NOT Seeking “Spark” In Relationship To “Avoid Divorce,” Despite Report
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not desperately seeking a “spark” in their relationship to help “avoid divorce,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this inaccurate claim. We’re told they’re marriage is healthy, and the allegation is “plain wrong.”
According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, Pitt and Jolie’s marriage is “in trouble two years after they tied the knot.” The untrustworthy webloid bizarrely speculates that the couple’s sex life needs a “spark,” and so they’re now trying to reignite their “passion” in a last-ditch effort to stave off divorce. To that end, claims the outlet, they spent the night of their two-year anniversary in the Beverly Hills Hotel for “needed hotel sex in hopes that it will help spark a fire again in their marriage.”
Even more strangely, the unreliable site alleges Pitt and Jolie fear if they divorce they’ll no longer be “Hollywood’s golden couple.” The ill-informed webloid even claims, “Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt haven’t had any hit movies in the last few years,” so they’re willing to “fake” happiness and pretend they’re in a good marriage.
Virtually nothing, other than the spelling of Jolie and Pitt’s names, is accurate in the CDL article. The couple is not “desperate” to save their marriage because there’s nothing wrong with it. Additionally, they treated themselves on their anniversary to an evening at a nearby hotel because they wanted a special night off from parenting six children. A source close to the couple assures us it had nothing to do with needing a “spark” in their relationship.
And lastly, the allegation that they don’t want to divorce because they “haven’t had any hit movies” in years is both absurdly unrelated to whether or not they would remain married and incredibly inaccurate on its face value. Pitt’s movie The Big Short, for example, was nominated last year for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. And in 2014, Jolie released the highly touted movie Broken, which she directed. She also starred in the successful film Maleficent, which has a sequel in the works.
Basically, the webloid appears to know nothing. It doesn’t cite any sources. Instead, it seemingly took a tidbit, such as Jolie and Pitt celebrating their anniversary away from their kids, and manufactured a totally untrue article, with no facts to back it up. Still, Gossip Cop investigates every story, regardless of how clearly fabricated they may seem. An impeccable source close to the couple assures us the latest tall tale from the often disproven site is once again “plain wrong.”
Sadly, Gossip Cop is not surprised. We have busted the outlet repeatedly for concocting reports about Pitt and Jolie. Just a few days ago, Gossip Cop blasted the webloid for making up a story that falsely alleged Pitt was leaving Jolie for Marion Cotillard. Much like that flagrant fabrication, the latest about them desperately trying to avoid divorce is also untrue.
