Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Fight

(In Touch)

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did not have “the fight to end all fights” while in Sydney, Australia. The rumor, based on a few photographs showing the couple talking on a hotel balcony, has been circulating among unreliable webloids for days and has now jumped to the cover of In Touch, a magazine that just last week showed its cluelessness by claiming Jolie is set for a public fight with Jennifer Aniston at the Golden Globes.

Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this In Touch report, which builds a story of crisis and drama around a few pictures for which the magazine has NO CONTEXT. The tabloid pretends to have an “eyewitness” to the alleged fight, except the “eyewitness” is really just the same photographs everyone has already seen. “[Pitt] was clearly exasperated with [Jolie],” the supposed spy tells the outlet. “They both kept talking over each other and putting their hands up in anger. They were upset but getting nowhere.”

Notice that In Touch doesn’t have any details besides that visuals. The magazine has no clue what Jolie and Pitt are discussing, or whether they’re even arguing. Pitt does have his arms raised and looks animated in the pics. Except he could be talking about ANYTHING. He’s not even necessarily angry in the images, and even if he IS angry, there’s no indication that he’s angry with Jolie. And she looks calm throughout the entire exchange.

Nevertheless, In Touch quotes an insider as saying, “It was the worst fight they’ve ever had, a complete game changer.” Really? It was the worst fight they’ve ever had? Then why can’t In Touch say what the fight was about? Or what was said? Or why they continue to look happy at joint public events? Instead, we get the same, years-old filler about how Pitt is concerned about Jolie’s health, and nonsense about Jolie being “livid” that Pitt “allowed” Aniston to be brought up in Pitt’s recent joke interview on “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis.”

In other words, the magazine thinks the couple, who have been together for a decade, are on the brink of disaster because Jolie is skinny and Pitt did a Funny Or Die sketch. That’s what In Touch is bringing to the table this week. A giant pile of NOTHING. This is the same magazine that claimed Pitt and Jolie were breaking up… in March 2009. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “There is no truth to this report. None.”
